Video Editing

Featured Replies

Hey guys... have you got any reccomendations on video editing software for me?

We've had a hard drive video camera for a while but not done anything with the videos we've made as they're all a bit all over the place and i was wanting to edit them together etc but not sure of what to use!

I tried a adobe premier elements but it just keeps crashing!!!

Im using vista 32bit btw and have plenty of ram and processing power...

or are you just going to say i should have bought a mac if i wanted to edit videos?!

I started out with Windows Movie Maker, free and easy to use, covers the basics and I've not needed to do more, yet. :)

windows movie maker is pretty good for a basic video editing prog. I have moved on to Serif Movieplus on the PC and used iMovie on the Mac to make my first Brisky movie on YouTube :)

I use Adobe Premier 6.5 which is a few years old now, but very powerful and I can't fault it. Didn't get on with Windows Movie Maker, but I may have been comparing it to Premier :o

I think as a beginner its great, a little time and you'll have the hang of it.
