thing is though how would you test the turbo before you fit it

Three bolts to manifold, Turbocharger to cylinder block nut and bolt.

whey hey its out took drive shaft off

Is that picture for demonstration only, or is that you one you get, as here seems to be four bolt holes on the mainifold flange??? Where I think there are only three on the KO3s turbo for the Octy vRS

Glad you spotted the deliberate mistake................LOL But I do spend time in Oz, so things do look upside down.

I'm ammazed at how someone has asked a question on here and someone else has come on to critisise another persons writing skills and use orf the English language, Not everyone is gifted as the poster, and what does it matter, unless the person is a teacher or job where it does matter,

If I have mistakes in my post I really don't care, Chin up and get a life instead of critisisng people cheezemonkhai, i'm sure you are far from perfect and have your own faults.

Dunno how your turbo has 'blown' but just bare in mind... if its broken up there will be shrapnel / swarf in intercooler pipework... would suggest new intercooler or your next will go pop too!
