Now before anybody says you can use a cut up credit card to remove the stereo i wondered if someone can confirm if these are the right removal keys to get the Symphony HU out of the Fabia vRS.....

I needed to remove the HU last year to fit my cubby drawer and couldn't get the bugger out with the credit card and kacksaw blade techniques. I took it to the dealer and it took them 15 minutes to get the thing out using the proper keys!!!! It looks as though the mechanism etc.... that the keys move / dislodge in the HU is very very tight in my HU hence me wanting to get a set of keys to do the job properly when i fit some Connects2 leads later this year.

They look very similar to a set of keys i bought off ebay last year

They didnt fit

Im sure someone will be able to tell you for certain

The other one's i've seen are these.........................

I used the kenwood radio removal keys. They are perfect.

the dealer removed mine for me

he used these from the parts dept (picture is from Fabia-vrs.com - Home Page - thanks VRStu)

took him less than 30 seconds!

I bought some from ebay that are the same as your first post, as okeh says they didn't fit but a quick rub with a file and they are perfick

Cheers for the replies guys...... I'll keep looking for a set of the T30005 keys....... Unless someone has a set they no longer require or someone who works in a dealer can get me a set as my local dealership won't sell me a set.

Dave can you get any Pioneer removal keys?

They are hard as hell to remove after but if the mechanism is dodgy it might be what you need
