that looks brilliant m8...

Wow. after having a 51 plate VRS I am biased but the mods carried out are superb, no pun intended. The front spots and black roof are both original and great ideas.

Top work:thumbup:

tidy :)

Thanks very much for the very Kind words. I planned not to change much to the appearance of the car as to me they look neat as standard. so i kept the same size wheels and just dropped it on coilovers, I felt that the lower spots was something that looked as though they where something that was missing to complete the great look of the front end. and then the other mods are just subtle like removed door rub strips and blacked the B posts. And a neat Exhaust as eevry mk1 vrs i look at has a offset backbox compared to the cutout.

Dont think i'll be changing much more apart from i have thought about getting rid of the skoda badge on the boot

that is without a doubt looking like the bollocks of the dog

Well done, a car to be proud of that!

I want your car........ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what are the coilovers like?

Fluffmeister and auroan- Thanks very much ;) I am very pleased with it, forgot to mention i'm thinking of spraying the mirrors black?

Babs they are Jamex coilovers :D and they are a very comfortable ride.

I can read that ;)

But what are they like? Stiff/Comfortable etc?

really interested in the spotlights at the bottom did you make or buy them? close up piccy please

i love the background in your pics, looks like the wild west!! also love the motor.

Not too stiff and not real bouncy. Imo they are just perfect :D

I bought the spots from a certain store ;) and just started hacking away at the grills :D. I used a 60mm holesaw and a hacksaw. Seperated the thin strip from the grill and carefully measured and marked the angles.

Heres the closest pic i have of them at present

:thumbup:very cool car, and great location for photo's.

Excellent. Really nice.

Especially like the spots. Very nice. How have you wired them in?? and do they cause any probs with the intercooler?

BTW is that the old fruit market??

Cheers

Looking good Dale and top quality photography as usual

Car / photography / location all excellent ! I'd be worried about plate being cloned though .

Looks cool, how does it handle speed humps:)

Handles them quite well, obviously at 15mph though

th4neuk- they dont foul on the intercooler at all. I got another heated window switch and put it in the blank. Wired off the battery with fuse to the switch and back off the switch to the spots and earthed them to the cars metal bumper.

Pretty easy really.

Looks very nice, the black roof i did'nt notice at first but really sets the car off and so subtle, top notch

mark (missing his mk1 vrs really badly now!)

The second photo for BRISKODA calender 2009 please.

On the photography side, what camera and if used, what post-processing? The images have incredible clarity. :)

Yeah no probs, do you want me to email you the hi res version?

I use a Nikon D40 with an F1.8 50mm Nikon Prime lens. Its very good for colour, the only post processing they've had is slight adjustment to the curves and a quick sharpen:thumbup:

fantastic photos. its photos like that which make me want a proper camera again!

any pics showing off your roof? maybe a high shot from the rear?

that cars a credit to you, modding at its best imoa
