I've never had any1 really turn their nose up. Most people say things like "they do some good cars now" etc etc. Ok it will never have the same ring as "I drive an Audi or Merc" but I think there is a lot more respect for the brand these days.

I find there a quite a few Skodas around where I am, most people echo the it's a vw thing. Swmbo didn't want me to get another Skoda after my Fabia. Then the octy mk2 vrs was launched. I said lets go and have a look at it anyway, and she loves it now and glad we got it. She even came to a meet I arranged, had a good day out.

No one ever mocked me for driving a Skoda. Have had numerous compliments though, normally including the phrase "good little car". Maybe there is hope after all...

alot of my friends at work have golf gti's etc and they laugh at my car all the time until i blow them away when they try and have a race absolutely amazing car ha ha

The only problem I now have with the VRS is I do not have anything to replace it with, without going out of the marque

I want to replace my Fabia VRS with a new Fabia VRS not a VW or Honda something clitoris

I want to replace as is, not buy down and upgrade myself, which is the only route available at the moment

There again as I am forced to buy outwith the marque, then I may get to enjoy the new marque and Skoda will be gone forever

A skoda three cylinder for old people and scrooge will be the new view of SKODA

I have no wish or need for the larger vehicle

my first and only car is a 1.4 mpi fabia, my mates take the micky out of me, but it slaughters my mates, 1.1 saxos and 1.3 fiestas. there good quality and cheap as well
