I've just found my old vRS for sale for the same amount that I sold it for nearly 1 year later.

I sold my vRS to free up monthly outgoings ie, Fuel/Insurance and bought the PD130 as I still wanted some performance. Now my PD130 is good, much much better than when I bought it but it does lack the feel/sound of the vRS and the vRS was the 1st nice car I've owned and it holds a place in my heart.

Should I sell/px my current car and buy my vRS back or should I keep what I've got and keep modding it.

Keep what you've got. Other wise your renaging on the reason why you changed in the first place.

We've moved house since and could afford the running costs, it's just the cost to change which I would be more than happy with.. Loved my vRS

He's asking for the same money a year later? For that reason alone I wouldn't buy it, plus do you know how its been treated during that year?

it's done 5k miles in the last year and is now up for sale though a small garage

go and have a test drive then and see if still feels like your car.

then proceed to tell the garage what they have got wrong about the spec of the car

Sounds like the best suggestion yet !

As Johnny says go back and have a test drive, I know somebody that done that before sold his car and a year later bought it back, it did feel strange buying your old car bak but he does enjoy it.

Really miss my old vRS:(

I can understand the temptation

Keep the PD; it's more economical, and faster in the real world too.

If my old vRS ever comes up for sale, I would proberbly buy it back assuming its still in one piece. I was quiet sad to sell it really. Sadly I know the car is still around, but I think its either now broken or worse still crashed. Acording to the DVLA my old vrs (Y407 JTM) is now declared Sorn and has been since the start of this year, and the askmid website says that its uninsured.
