  • Here's a useful guide to correct fitting orientation for anyone wanting to fit Meyle console bushes (bush part number 1006100027/HD)...

  • Just a couple of observations, if you remove the lower swivel at the ball joint then the camber/caster should be as was, get the tracking checked should maybe read get a full four wheel realignment ca

  • excellent guide. I'm sure it'll come in very handy to members.

Ah! Thanks @Breezy_Pete , much appreciated.

I notice from that diagram there's nothing showing for the nut the bolt fastens into. Is it captive in the sub-frame i.e. doesn't need replacing?

Must be, our 2012 Roomster no doubt has the same arrangement, but is out and about just now. Can probably see with front wheels parked at an angle??

Can anyone confirm that the part no. for the Front Wishbone Bush Bolt is still the revised N 10640301 shown at the top of Page 7 for Fabia 2 (2012 TSi).

...even better if anyone knows what I should expect to pay at a local VW dealer (or are there any other sources)? I'm only doing near side, so only need 1 bolt.

Just found out my 'local' VW dealer closed 31/12/2025, so any tips on where to get the bolt from appreciated. Ebay crazy prices, GSF not listed, Partsinmotion - no, no TPS nearby.

Is this bolt definitely single use?

Not sure, but will look at workshop manual now for you.

It says this, but I would happily reuse if it's not too badly corroded:

70 Nm + 90°

❑ replace after each removal

Thanks Pete🙂
