Im going to lower the front and rear by 35mm, can someone recommend what springs to go for and where can I get them from?

Eibachs? Or could go with the coilovers in the current group"]group buy?

I'd recommend against jus buying springs cos the standard dampers r a bit soft (shoot the designer). If u go for springs, it'll b bouncy city!

Eibach dont recommend fitting their standard octy springs to the vRS. Go the whole hog and get springs and dampers, KW seem popular on here. Several types are available for the vRS.

KW V1, Just allow you to adjust the ride height to as low as you want,

KW V2, as above + rebound adjustment on damper &

KW V3, as KW2 but also with bump adjustment.

I run KW2's, these will cost around 700 fitted. The KW1's will give what you want though and are cheaper.

b: not with a sump guard - and i never have done unlike other members (i.e. you and ian)

Mike - mine is dropped about 40mm (recommended by Jabba). It asked them to drop it further but they reckoned it would put a lot of strain on the driveshafts (I remember **** from somewhere over the channel kept having problems with his as he ran it low...).

35-40 is quite a lot and with 40 I do hit speedbumps fairly regularly.

I don't believe Jon has ever cracked a sump.... ripped it clean off perhaps, but it was still largely intact.
