'Pinking' at 2700 revs 1.4 Octavia

Hi,

I have a 1.4 Octavia (2002) which is pinking at approx 2700 revs. It is especially evident on an incline. Also most evident in 3rd & 4th gears. Has anyone had the same problem or can anyone offer any advice?

The timing and/or fuel grade are clearly wrong. Get the timing checked if you can, or fill up at a garage selling a different brand of fuel.

Correct Spark Plugs?

I have a 2022 Karoq 110PS which will need the spark plugs changing soon. I have looked at a couple of on line retailers but they quote different thread lengths for their plugs against my registration. These are 20.5mm, 26.5mm and 28mm. I don't want to fit the wrong plugs so am asking advice on which is the correct plug length for my car? I believe NGK plugs will have been fitted by Skoda originally so will be looking to stay with NGK if I can. Many thanks.

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. Hello I have a Amunsen MIB2 with MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0359T SW0359 HW28 PART NUMBER 5Q0 035 874B I have been looking very where to find an update as i believe there is SW 0363 H31 that will work on my system. I have also read that SW 0456 HW41 also works but i am not 100%. is there anyone that has either of these software or hardware they are will to share or has anymore information that could help me please would be much appreciated.
