Car Data Checks (RAC, HPI etc)

Featured Replies

I've just been having a look round at the options.

Most seem to charge about £19.95 for a single check.....

(although this gives up to 5 checks for £19.99 using VRStu's discount code)

However, the RAC have a service for £5.00

This looks to provide most of the information that the more expensive checks do, but maybe I'm missing something - is there any reason to use the £19.95 ones.

Of course, if anyone has unlimited access to HPI and wouldn't mind doing a quick single car check for me, please drop me a PM and I will let you have the reg number for the vehicle in question.

I've done an RAC HPI check last night and it's just using the hpicheck.co.uk website (although you pay a fiver instead of two tenners). Had all the info I was after (stolen/recovered/cat-c/d/finance/etc)

Think I paid a fiver when I checked out SWMBO's car - can't remember the site, but it seemed to get all the info I would have expected...

isn't there an advert on the TV at the moment for a text based service , where you text the reg , and they send the vehicle details back , costs £3 + text message rate

There is an offer I posted recently in Freedom which is a good deal for multiple checks when car searching.
