Lowering is getting closer, only 1,000 miles to go

I will have to respray the front slats if im to take the VRS badge off as its stuck on with glue :thumbdwn:

You have given me a idea with the rear badge mate, with the yellow and black theme.

You should have used a lemom on the exhaust that is what SWMBO done with ours and it came up a treat.

Tried it..... to no avail. Dont think the exhaust has been cleaned since it was new :thumbdwn:... been over it for the past 3 weeks with some Autosol and a toothbrush, its getting there though, bit by bit

Might come up with some fine wet or dry the grille, or if it does get sprayed do it matt black!

Hmm

Think im going to c/c the rear badge and remove all badges ;), makes polishing easier too . + bit stealthy

Im planning on getting the alloys refurbed in either gloss black or antharcite (havent decided yet) the need done and i cant be arsed cleaning them so a darker colour wouldn't need much cleaning.... result :D

I found this worked well on the exhaust:

clean with a sponge and normal car shampoo

then spray over with autoglym clean wheels, wipe off with cloth

then use a little bit of t-cut on a cloth

wash again

Hmm

Yeah deffo taking it off, the fronts too 'busy' at the moment i think ;)

you have made a great decision on the eye brows mate they look gash on such a nice car as yours pal

How shiney is your motor!

Get rid of the VRS badge and will look waaaaay better.

Awesome, might have to look into getting a black badge for the front of mine!

Think i've beat you to it dude lol lol lol Excuse the crap pic, mucky car and the chips on the grill (over zealous driving on back roads. This has been fixed now lol)

lol theres always one. I think its a mod that needs to be seen in the flesh! ;)

i agree. I looks sweet tho lol

Looks very aggressive when behind you, mainly because (imo that is) the car has lost a little of its shape when the chrome is coded. And besides, it makes folk see the "out ma way" badge" (the wee "V" lol) easier lol lol lol

that looks really smart:) is it a proper skoda part? i know (cant remember what his name is) but he had the old skoda badge on his boot the one with the silver skoda badge...

If these old style are available for the front grill I'd certainly buy one. Does anyone know a source?

Yeah, old one off new one on, you need to brake the fixings off the back as its designed for the engine bay, then use some trim tape to fix it

Looks great matey.

Mine is looking real stelth at the mo, as i have my black 16" steels on it!!

Im also considering taking the front fogs out too, as one has been cracked, and i dont use them either....

The only thing i would try to change on yours is the numberplates....just not keen....but personal preferance....!

Its coming off............ tomorrow, + im going to colour code the skoda badge:cool:

Tbh i think the front looks a lot better without the vrs logo, theres too many on the cars as it is, just looks tacky, nearly as bad as a 16v badge lol:rofl:
