Have to say i'm not a fan of the black badge...... One of my concerns is that it seems to be made of not the hardest plastic and seems like it would scratch / mark easily. I think it works on cars such as VW's & Audi's etc.... where the badge is chrome and of a simple design that cen be resprayed etc... just doesn't seem right with a more complex design like the Skoda logo..... But good on ya for giving it a go.

Had the F1's on the Polo GTi before i sold it and they were great. I'm still deciding what to go for when i replace my tyres as the fronts aren't far off wearing out.

Gave my exhaust a clean up the other week with brasso..... Came up a treat. :)

Cheers

Dave.

Where d'you get the badges from and how much were they?

Lookin sweet man.

Not sure on the black badge, at first I thought "Looks crap" then had a second look and thought hmmm looks stealthy.

Ill go down as undecided.

Wheels look mint.

In real life its such an improvement, im thinking remove the vrs badge too and it will look super stealthy

It was polished that time with some Poorboys SSR1 by hand to get rid of the swirls a bit then ontop is 2 layers of Collinite 476S Wax (shit hot stuff)

This time was just a top up (1 coat) Collinite

Just so you know there not a direct fit, you have to heat them up with a hairdryer and bend slightly to follow the curvature of the existing ones, also the clips on the back have to be broken off / filed so its smoothed then stuck in place either by some trim repair tape of adhesive

Why thank you kind sir

Ermmmm...not sure.

Id say yes, aslong as you get rid of the vRS chrome badge...

Liking the badges, I was planning to do this with my Octy before I got rid. Brings back memories of the DIY colour change Ford badges. We used to sand the back of the badge to remove the Ford blue and then respary using any colour you wanted.

Looking good:thumbup:

I wonder what those badges would look like if they were colour coded instead of just ABS plastic? Next time I have something in the body shop, I might order a couple and ask them to spray them.

looks really well bruce good job:)

Get some red ones Clidge...

Not my cup of tea, but if you like them

Steve

Looking good! Love those wheels and nice to hear some more good reports with Collinite :)

Might fit one on the front grille.

Would appreciate a pic when you've got the badge and colour coded grill in place.

Car's looking well - like the eyebrows:thumbup:

Chuck the eyebrows and get the headlight inserts painted too...very stealth!

Not keen on the rear badge but if you're keeping the chrome grille surround for the front, the black badge might work there.

Im not sure on them tbh,, i think the front end just looks a little too 'busy'

Im awefull for sticking with something though.

I debadged my old car, then rebadged it with new badges, then debadged it again all but the HDi badge then rebadged it again in its standard attire, just gotta make my mind up lol
