Rear ARB

Featured Replies

I'm looking to lower my Fabia vRS by about 50mm at the the front and rear.

I've searched the forum for pics of the Whiteline ARB and the Jabba ARB but I've not found any on a lowered Fabia.

So my question is: for those with a lowered vRS (with either the Whiteline or Jabba ARB), how close are they to the floor? Too close to catch? Can anyone post any photos?

But I only want pics of a rear ARB if your car is lowered.

Thanks!

Mine was lowered with the Koni STR.T kit too

That is a cracking set up and I now have the front one on too :D

My car handles like a dream :D

You realise that it's the drop link that goes nearest the floor is on the sprung part of the suspension meaning it will never get any lower?

My ARB links are about 2 maybe 3 inches off the deck and they never catch on anything

I've seen some photos of the Whiteline on a 1.9 Scout and it just looked spookily low! So I was wondering if the gap to the ground would be about the same on a Fabia?

its the sump you wanna be worrying about

Yeah, I tried to measure the gap between the sump and the ground on my unlowered vRS and it's not a lot.

I know some people have sump guards but despite some digging I haven't been able to find anyone still making these :-(

skudmissle is knocking some up apprantly

and there is a company called totalvag which can produce them for around £150 im led to believe

It was Josh who organised that GB

He has since left the Skoda comunity and does not have his Fabia anymore :( ah he was a sweetie

But he was the one who dealt with it from start to finnish , so nobody know`s who the company was barr him

Shame.........

I dont have any issues with the ARB catching , in fact we have had a bit of a splurge on these and only have a few left out of 17

Urm - actually the company is called KLM - but they were pretty darn expensive IMHO and also the sump guard bracket is too weak, and doesnt fit properly past the Forge FMIC pipework.

When my car is back in one piece engine wise post-swap, I will get some stuff measured up as the use of the metal undertray without additional support ends up ripping all the plastic underneath to bits over time (even when you dont hit anything). Mine was hanging under with cable ties at one end as all the original holes had been damaged...
