Despite owning one, I actually agree. It's a good little diesel - not a supercar as some owners seem to think.

I was expecting a fight, but that's my opinion of it as well!

I think the thing with the Furby was that, at the time, you couldn't get much else for the same money that offered the same combination of price and performance. Of course the Fiesta ST, Grande Punto Sporting, Ibiza Cupra (even Ibiza FR in 1.8T form) - plus more - all arguably have the upper hand nowadays, but It Was Not Ever Thus...

IMO, anything with a Blue Propellor on either end:

Beat me to it.

Anything made by vauxhall.

Got to agree with the E Type too. They just don't do it for me.

who ever rated them in the 1st place?:rofl:

Even a droopsnoot?

Or are they before your time?

I had a go in an E Type once, and it was poo tbh, although it looked nice.

Id have to take a Muira from that era, if I had to.

I quite like the Corsa VXR

I quite like the Corsa VXR

true.

My comment was slightly throw away actually as I'd happily have any of the VXR range esp. VXR 500.

Also the slightly sporty new astra and vectra look quite good IMO. Pity they have to put SXI on side as that badge turns me cold - luke warm performance at most and so many ch@vved up corsa SXI's roaming around.

Did anyone see how the Corsa SXI got beat by Fiesta ST on Fifth gear? I'd have the ford every time.

I would say a focus rs, yeah it's quick but hey it looks like every other standard focus inside, I much preferred my focus 1.6 at the time I had it

It's because SXI is a trim-level, not a badge of "warm-ness" anyway.

You can get a 1.1 Corsa SXI.... it's just got nicer wheels, maybe a lip spoiler, nicer seats

The world's most gash steering wheel, too :(

I thought the wheel was alright when I had the focus but when I first bought the car it seemed huge! hopefully the new rs will be completly diffrent to the normal focus.

Saying that the escort cosworth was the same as the rs in the fact it used the escort's horrid dashboard at the time but what a car.

I would say the vrs is a bit overated as well, its quick but not as quick as people make out as well.

No - I meant the RS' wheel...

Caparo!

Unbelieveable concept let down by the fact it blows up/breaks down every five minutes and doesn't handle at normal road speeds.

Gordon Murray fits in to the same category as Boyd Coddington....

Might make a good sticker to put in my car, but so there's no picking on the BMW owners might need a few more sh!ts, maybe a Porsche one, a Mercedes one and so on.

Civic Type R.

turbo>vtec

If you say so, what about a supercharged VTEC >> turbo
