Toyota Prius (and any other hybrid)

seems to be hyped up as the planets saviour, yet not as economical as a normal diesel, costs more and not as classy as a regular car that size, the overall environmental cost is higher as the disposal of the batteries is high, as is the energy used in production.

Plus the area where the metal comes from is suffering due to the resultant pollution caused in it's extraction and refinement.

true cost of the Prius

I will smile at you as I overtake in the BMW lane:finger::rofl:

The BMW lane? :thumbdwn:

Yes it was an optional extra when I signed up. It was either that, or I could have gone for the indicator option.:D:P

The Fabia vRS is only over-rated on grounds of owners being completely unrealistic with claims etc etc ;)

I'm completely in agreement with regards to the e-type, although I've never actually driven one...

I had a mini rant a short while ago slagging the E-type’s look (also won a letter of the month with a similar comment in CAR mag, so we are not alone:thumbup:) it’s track is too narrow and the funny upright little screen screams against the torpedo shape of the body. The bum looks a little big from the side too.

I think it's these 4X4 truck type things a la Mitsu Warrior / Nissan Navara / Toyota Hilux.

Theyre agracultural vehicles with leaf spring suspension FFS. They rust, they make you look gay, and don't make any sense in the UK at all.

Cough cough….not that there is anything wrong with looking gay. I still fancy a Land Rover Defender and I am unreliably informed by Briskoda that I will look like I am a lesbian in it. I think I will look quite foxy really:D

Read of a story regarding the e-type - some guy always wanted one and spent a small fortune having one done up - when it came the time to drive it, he hated it !

Add those silly Daihatsu things to the list :D Was a passenger in one ages ago and all the thing did was bounce, can't imagine it would be nice to drive off road.

MK IV Golf GTI.

It wasn't that quick, handled like poo and the build quality wasn't anything special either.

It was so unlike a GTI, I don't think any of the other markets even tried to badge it as one... :D

But did anyone pretend their MkIV GTI was anything other than a slow, heavy pudding of a car??

yet the mk1 vRS is good

The 1.8T was alright... nothing special, but the 2.0 8v FFS!

You're right, no other market badged it as a GTI, and a look at the sticker in the boot says "Highline" :)

the 2.0 8v FFS!

Of course, it's a well-known fact that that engine in a Fabia is the stuff that Land Speed Records are made of... ;):D

I apologise for my blasphemy!

I apologise for my blasphemy!

Consider yourself suitably punished.

:whip:

Now go wash your mouth out...

:D

I can see you have a deep rooted issue with these cars.............do you need to talk about it :rofl::rofl:

yet the mk1 vRS is good

Did I say that?

Did I say that?

fair enough :D

E types are ugly (XJS is better), all pickups are stupid, Landrovers are pointless for most people and nasty to drive (might as well include Freelanders, Discos and RangeRovers while at it), Morris Minors are not cute just dull, Minis are truly dreadful - new and old.

Capri's are great, Reliant Scimitars, Hillman Avengers, and Imps are all ok.

PS all Renaults are cr*p! In fact all French cars.

Have I missed out upsetting anyone?
