vRS fun this morning.

Featured Replies

I've not done this since I was about 18 or 19 but this morning got up at the crack of dawn and headed down the coast for a wee blast with the vRS when the roads were quiet.

First port of call was the petrol station and parting with £39 to fill the car up (having been in London the price of diesel has creeped up, so had to go out of town to get the diesel) then headed down to the coast and opened the car up. Having not driven for about 4 days I took it easy and then opened her up and let the fun begin.

I have never had so much fun through the twisties and the straights than in this car, even having to slam on the brakes for a phesant on the road.

My only concern is that I'm going have to spend some dosh on a anti roll bar now as the handling could be better in some of the corners.

And my wee drive was nearly runied when a low flying pigeon smacked the windscreen, lucky no damage caused.

So today will see me looking at anti roll bars, quite tempted with the whiteline ARB.

When will the modding stop?

it never stops,i only wanted to tighten the handling up a bit,now its gone mad and cost me thousands:eek:well worth every penny, she is a different beast now.

Good to see you enjoying the car,i allways enjoy mine:D

i went for a nice little drive this morning too!! found some good puddles to drive through! video's to follow later when its loaded on you tube!! me and my mate was doing coursework all night so we went for a spin about 6am:)

This is what REAL motoring is all about. Any enthusiast that doesn't take it for the occasional rip on a early sunday morning doesn't deserve to be called a Car Nut!

How was the pigeon :P

I just lowered my car yesterday (40mm on H&R Springs) and took her for a good blast this morning as well. Loving the car more now, it feels tighter and more responsive........my vRS is fun again lol

Don't be tempted by the price of the Whiteline. Spend the extra on the Jabba and get a superior quality product. Before i had my bar fitted i loved the power but i found the handling a bit ****e. Now i love the power AND the handling.

rear arb's are for homo:rofl:

nothing wrong with kicking the back end out now and again:thumbup:

Hows the pigeon- Never stopped to look, I would presume it was ok, just due to the fact was all that I saw was the wings smacking the windscreen, the drive is getting addictive in one day done nearly 100 miles thank goodness my fuel bill worked out a bit better this month before pay day with me not using the car for a few days!
