Brakes

Featured Replies

Looking at a vrs hatch yesterday I noticed that it had vented rear discs. I'm sure others hatches I looked at at the dealer had solid rears like my elegance, whilst the estates had venteds.

Could be wrong though??

So, what actually are the differences between the vrs and elengance turbos?

Got some obvious bits:

- bumpers & wheels

- interior trim/dash/sunroof

- lower front springs

- chip & exhaust

Octavia vRS does indeed come with 256mm vented rear discs.

Sunroof is an option :)

Bigger front brakes too (312mm IIRC)

The Elegance benefits from:

Electrically operated sunroof

Headlight washer system

Central front armrest

Side airbags, front

Twin rear reading lights

...and lots more colours! :D

What's wrong with estate agent-speak, eh? And deoes that mean the vRS front spoiler is designed to sweep asylum seekers out of the way?
