Right we are getting our yellow vrs on saturday, now i really want the standard wheels doing anthracite, so will get that done asap, but hubby said theyd look good with a yellow lip around the edge of wheel.... in the style of this....

has anyone done this to their vrs, in any shade but preferably yellow? i aint that good at photoshop to be able to do it myself :thumbdwn:

It may look quite good, but is the wheel suitable for a yellow lip. Is going to push the price up too.

my husband will be doing the wheels so thats not a problem, im just after a photo of how it will look first

I wouldn't bother tbh.

Anthracite wheels on a yellow car look great, the yellow lip would cheapen it .

I am now on my 2nd yellow vRS and the last thing I would do would be to change the colour of the wheels.

Just my humble opinion of course

though i just think yellow and black compliment each other so well

that and the fact that its easier to keep anthracite wheels clean ( or leave em dirty)

looking at these 2 pics id say they should have come from the factory anthracite

obivously they are black which imo is too dark

anthracite the best of both worlds

i was talking about a pin stripe just yesterday on a set of bbs ch wheels.. i think it could look quite good if its done well!

i reckon a set of these.. BBS CH Black Red Lip 18" Alloy Wheels Golf Audi A3 TT on eBay, also, Wheels with Tyres, Car Wheels, Tyres Trims, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 28-Mar-08 10:54:52 GMT) with a green pin stripe to match the calipers on a black octy would look slick.. but then i may be talking out my **** again!

We have seen this VRS today, it took our eye when we pulled into a shopping mall. It belongs to our Skoda main dealership, stood out a little more than our Anthracite 4x4 Octy, must admit.
