Toms Red 06 Octavia vRS

Yes you should. This stuff really is brilliant. The subtle sheen it gives interior plastics is ace, and durable too. Its also good to use on rubber seals too.

Not great photos, but I'll post them anyway!

Inside looks nice mate and I am going to have to agree with Makefish on this one that you must really like this car!!!

And an external Briskoda.net sticker above the headlight. Bit annoyed with this as I ordered 2 stickers, and neither of them had and dots on them - should they??

Yes mate, they should

I ordered 4 of those stickers and they all had the dots on.

Looks a bit odd without them tbh, maybe you could cut your own out of another sticker or tape etc.

Tom.......... to be blunt...... do you give your car 'one' up its twin exhausts or something? (hence the maga exhaust detail?)

Reason I ask is because you come across like a dog with 2 d1ck's over the thing at the moment !!

I love my VRS, but Jesus mate, you don't half take it to extremes !!!!

Fitted some Briskoda stickers today too...

Briskoda banners in the rear quarter windows...

Also gave the engine bay a good scrubbing and dressing...

Gave the interior a full going over too, leather feed, aerospace 303 on the plastics and a jolly good hoovering, but as they all look the same, I wont bore people with more pics!

Thats it for today! :P

That's a very nice motor there fella......

With regard the brisky stickers.... Yeah they should have the dots, Actually small squares. You sure they didn't stick to the backing sheet???

Cheers

Dave.

Yep, absolutely certain. Looked at the second sticker I have and that does have one of the dots... :(

The second one will be replacing this one next weekend as the car is being machine polished - so I can chop up one of the letters of the old one to reuse!

Thanks for the kind words too :)

I'm sorry, it was a flipant comment :o

Jumbo Box is a fancy name for the centre arm rest with storage space (and air con!), has an Aux input for an MP3 player too

They must have very small elephants in the Czech republic though ....... Jumbo indeed :D

Indeed. And the "cooled" feature is only applicable when cool air is actually coming out of the air vents too. I discovered this when I popped some cheese and sandwiches into it on a 6 hour journey to Scotland last year in April. Outside temp was cool, but I wanted to keep the food cooler than the interior temperature . . . unfortunately, as I discovered about 3 hours in when I came to eat, the box had been heated along with the interior of the car, except without the cooling effect of the windows etc. . . . warm soggy sandwiches.:o

gorgeous mate i love these cars now awesome pal

Beautiful Car!!!!!!!

That looks great matey, looks top quality

Could you fit a modified version of the engine cover back on?

Although, even without its still looks fantastic

Top job

I was hoping the Evoms cover would fit, but it doesn't unfortunately, which is a shame as I really like it! I could modify an engine cover, but my first attempt with a brand new cover resulted in me cocking it up big time and essentially binning £80. :(

I think I'll be leaving the cover off for the forseeable, but would like to have another go at modifying a stock one in the future.

Looks great Tom and I don't think that I even looked under the bonnet when it was detailed............check your mobile phone mate please............
