Been around a bit that car ;)

Seems like ages ago I fitted the 312mm brakes, pioneering modsback in them days, first Fabia vRS to wear them, and genuine Octy ones at that :)

Pioneering mods indeed young Lummox... got me out the **** a fair few times over the years :D

Also first with Powerflex and then Cupra bushes too ;)

Oh and the first FMIC'ed furby

And might have had something to do about the design of a rear ARB too :D

Also was the most powerful non hybrid PD130 in the country for a while (probably still aint far off it actually)

We were pioneers in them days, mine was close to being the first to wear GT brembos up front, a close call with the silver one Star Perfomance did (another pioneer). And the first Fabia to wear a TD Hybrid and Milltek designed the fabia exhaust and downpipe on my car.

You did go through a phase at one time of whoring your car out to whomever was willing to do a bit of 'development'

Are you trying to say im a Whore?:rofl:

Its only because the car was unknown at the time, i mean back then, who tuned TDI's? it was all about the 1.8t and the Golf platform before the Fabia vRS!!.

I think we can both go down as being influential in that field ;)

Im sure if I hadnt had mine your car would have got the goodies..lol

Remember my first ever Brisky meet at Bruntingthorpe, and you'd only just got your (oversized) FMIC fitted...

...and then at a C&F meet not long after you got the rear ARB, being parked with a rear wheel in the air!!!

Oh, and I remember you being quicker than mine, just :(

Oh the memories!!!

Love those Kahn alloys! AM so tempted to get hold of some RSR's like your or RSS but they cost so much money :( Easier to clean than the Octy Spiders though!

I think I nabbed the Kahns off an AmD customer for Col when we sold him some new wheels.

Fancy sticking another car on bricks for me?

Pleez :o

They look nice, but weigh a metric f**kload and actually slow the car down :o

Am not a fan of those alloys sorry :o Would suit a bigger car I think rather than a Furby

Not fussed about the weight, at least they're individual and easy to clean. Look amasing too

Sorry to go off topic slightly, but when did the forum start?

Nice looking car neo mate, don't think I will see the mileage of 105k.

Sooner than 2008 though...when you're wanting to change it anyway lol

They were very easy to clean yes.... looked the bizz with eibach suspension too

I would like to throttle you, now I know for certain it was YOU who caused the rapid loss of cash into mods for my Fabia.

Good work Colin, and a testament of how gentle you are to make it last so long.;)

And it is a quick'un for just a map.
