HELLO THERE,

My friend is using canon 40d and he told that he ha no problems with that. well about 450d , i am not familiar with that. I am a Nikon fan , so i am in a hurry to take Nikon D40 or D80..confused :D

If you can afford it, the 40D, a better build and more sophisticated camera body.

But both will give you good quality shots if used properly.

I would say the 450d is a camera you will eventually grow out of but the 40d is a camera you will grow into!

I made the mistake early last year with Nikon - now looking to go from the D80 to the D300 :D

Are you finding the 300d restrictive?

If not then 450D would seem the natural progression. If so...
