Well I have been at my new job for two days now and we were sent home with system problems :thumbup:, wondering what to do I pinched the keys to the car and decided to surprise Skodaboy1983 (Davy) and clean the car.

I only decided to wash it but decided to dress the trim and polish the car.

Davy was very impressed and has asked me to prepare the car for the show and shine next week at a VW mega meet, I'm looking for a trophy for this one.

For cleaning the car Davy took me out for dinner to say thank you.

I was pleasently surprised when I seen the pics, to be fair Hannah has been washing the car while i've been at work for a few weeks, and she makes a good job of it I know what I'll be buying for her birthday.......

I'll wash your car for you. I quite enjoyed it. Found it quite relaxing washing the car.

Right whens my next paid half day. Need the systems to go down again.

Thats true re the camera, I think Hannah's camera phone is not the best in the world, even sending them to my phone which is a 3 mega pixel jobbie improved them a bit but not great.

Thanks for the comments, I have another pic which I could not upload last night and that was the clean engine bay, I even cleaned all the black trim in there.

Maybe Hannah is in the wrong job, if you find cleaning cars is quite relaxing, quit what you are doing and start a mobile car valeting business

Maybe you can compete with the guy who charges £1000 to clean Porche 911's , Ferrari's and Veyrons. he hand warms the car wax before applying to the cars :eek:

Only problem with cleaning your car like that whilst living up here is that you can almost guarantee its gonna get rained on within 24 hours of lookin like that !!!!!! (nice though)

Rain's not the main problem: looks good when it beads on the paintwork

It's the gulls that can spot just-cleaned cars from miles away that are much more frustrating!

I can confirm the annoyance RE the gulls though - apparently they think when they see their reflection that its water underneath so proceed to shat all over your nice clean car!

I'll need to get the finger out next week and polish her up good for the mega meet to keep up with that shine!

Thats if i have the car in for the show and shine.

Roads are terrible just now, spent a wee while cleaning the car yesterday, and its a state again because of all the grit!
