Windows closing when locking the doors

Featured Replies

Yes this can be done with a vagcom serial cable £11.99 inc p&p and a program called vds pro

cable from vagproducts.co.uk

program and info from MotiveMag Forums: diy window rollup/rolldown w/keyfob

for any more help pm me I have done this to my mk1 vrs.

I did research this a while back and found all that info (even downloaded all the programs) but as I didn't have a serial cable and the software looks pretty dangerous I couldn't be bothered to try it.

Shame the latest vag com doesn't do it though, or that vds pro hasn't been updated to use the latest interfaces.

P.S, sorry to bump up an old thread, I haven't been on here for a while :P

Mine arrived today. It took a month but it's here now and it works a treat. The windows and sunroof now close with one press of the button.
