Mine arrived this morning and is sat waiting at home for me!

Will report back on this tomorrow as not sure im going to get a chance tonight!

I also got mine today. Excellent product, works a treat. Full auto closure on mine no need to hold the button except to open the windows. Took all of 30 seconds to install :D

Now I know that it works fine, think I'll order one. Wonder if they will give us a discount if I set up a GB?:rubchin:

That's exactly how it's supposed to work! You don't have to open the windows all the way if you don't want to either.

Any1 Hampshire/Berkshire way fancy flashin mine for beer tokens? ;)

someone should rent it out lol, pay for postage to and from and then give some beer money for their trouble :)

It only 30notes but for 1 time use makes sense to get some of your cash back or enjoy some chilled beers :P

It only works once.

The stick only works once, fek me sideways thats a bit guff.

Cheers

Surely there must be some clever git on here that can make them work more than once???

If the device was a fortune, then someone might give it a go, but its only a few quid.

£30 may only be a few quid to you my friend....

I guess that after the device has finshed programming the car then the program erases itself from the device. Someone would need to disasemble one that had not been used yet and find a way to read the microchip without triggering the program.

Can this still not be done with vag-com then?

I'd have thought by now someone could have figured out what was being changed and implemented it

Yes this can be done with a vagcom serial cable £11.99 inc p&p and a program called vds pro

cable from vagproducts.co.uk

program and info from MotiveMag Forums: diy window rollup/rolldown w/keyfob

for any more help pm me I have done this to my mk1 vrs.

:bump: (bumping old thread)

I have just this afternoon re-programmed my windows using the KVW100. I bought from Vagproducts.co.uk. Cost me £27.99 & took about 5 days to arrive.

There are two different 'functionalities' mentioned on the webpage. On my car (2002 RS) the KVW100 enabled the second option. i.e. One touch lock.

Very pleased with it. Works exactly as stated.

Good Bump  "The Ors" - just ordered one

Turned up yesterday and installed, works perfectly - well chuffed.

I've just ordered one. I don't know whether it will work 'hold down' or 'one touch' though. My car is a 53reg Elegance, first registered Dec 03.

I guess I'll find out when it arrives.....
