Yeah Lewis pretty sure it's a Premier Lodge. Heading south on M6 leave at Jct 42 and turn right, 5th exit, on A6 Carlisle, the turn right as soon as your on it.

I'd be disappointed if your car was clean Dave, don't think I've seen it clean yet....lol

Don't forget we'll head for some food at 12, and then head out on the route.

great day, thanks to Ian for the drive, you'll have to figure out some new routes for the next one :) and thanks to Mike for showing me what a swift sport can do

pub lunch was nice too, driven past that pup many times and never been in for food :)

nice to put a couple of new faces to screen names, looking forward to the next one, and can't wait for the vids! :D

Got a few pics here, but I am gutted to say that I have an hour of camcorder footage that is totally useless :( The thing has died and I just have black bars over the image. Dammit!

So that leaves me with the rear-facing camera, which worked pretty well, and a little from my other camera.

On to the pics!

Cheers guys, I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Glad you all liked the routes, and yes some new ones needed soon, although some ideas have come to mind.

Roll on the next one. Date suggestions welcome, but how about the end of September ish.

I'm working out some video snippets, one of which is going to be privately shared to those interested in seeing it (sharky will know the section I'm talking about ;) )

I'll see if I can get a copy of Ian's video as well :)

thanks man, I like to think I can stand up to the competion ;) remember the 1.9 m/jet will map straight to 190bhp with absolutley no other mods at all! mine is limited only by me to hold the life of the clutch :D I have seen a bravo (admittadly with the m/jet 150 engine [bigger turbo] mapped to over 200 bhp with no other mods!)

although I still think my car will be small fish on the RR next weekend lol.... most of the fabia's should beat it, I'm expecting 160bhp this time! lol....

on the road though, it is a bit lighter, very good standard brakes, and very good standard chassis

edit: and yes mike, lewis was the only one keeping up with us, so lets see the three of us, edited of course for legal reasons! :D

Vid should be up tonight, I'll pop it on youtube, with appropriate edit. As well as the first section, there is some of the convoy together.

Hi Guys,

We're just back from the weekend, really enjoyed ourselfs yet again, I have a idea for the next meet.

How a bout a run to moffat for toffee as carlisle is only about 45 mins to moffat and about a hour from edinburgh take you along some roads in the scottish borders and back down to moffat again.

Davy

That sounds good to me Davy :D

Well we stopped there today and spent about £4 on pick and mix and another £4 on toffee and then bombed back to edinburgh but there is a few nice b roads just off the A701, If I can rustle up a few scottish members we can maybe have a big meet.

Davy
