So, Whats your favorite games?

Dont forget to state platform, and why you like it..

Portal - PC - Love this just because its novel, the ending is superb and the cake is a lie!

Gears of War - 360/PC - A game honed to perfection, awesome to play in Co-OP mode.

Crackdown - 360 - hours of fun jumping across rooftops and tearing round in the tricked up agency vehicles.

TeamFortress 2 - PC - One of my favorite multiplayer games of all time, amazing attention to detail.

Call of Duty 4 - PC - Singleplayer and Multiplayer addiction.

Bioshock - PC - great storyline, and genuinely frightening in places.

Ill write some more later...

Nothing beats Doom on PC (except perhaps Quake or Duke Nukem if I'm feeling daft) Gimme some old-skool first-person action!

Mario Kart Wii - because it's ace!

Civ 2 on PS1 - because it's the only version of Civ on a console.

FF7, because it was a real leap forward for RPGs at the time.

Unreal Tournament - PC LAN or online with the excessive patch for hours of mindless fun

Duken Nukem 3D - PC LAN gaming was brilliant.

GTA - PC again another LAN gaming favourite

I've wasted countless days playing the various C&C titles over the years.

Another fav is Civilization series.

Burnout - Gamecube still may favourite of the entire series.

Goldeneye/Perfect Dark - N64 Only reason I bought an N64

Command and Conquer on PC LAN - so many days wasted when I was younger

Joint Operations - PC - Brilliant multiplayer with huge levels and loads of vehicles to play in. The level editor meant that you were able to creat some ridiculous levels to 'test the vehicles'

Goldeneye - N64 - Bought 2 N64's just to play this (the last one I bought 8 months ago:O)

Mario Kart - SNES - Got me into gaming, used to go to a friends house just to play this.

Pro Evo Soccer (3/4/5) - PC/PS2 - I had this at uni and we used to spend hours everyday trying to become the overall champion. Everytime I play it, it reminds me why I didn't get a 1st at uni:D.

COD4 - Xbox 360 - Best FPS I think I've ever played, soooo adictive with brilliant single player and multiplayer games.

Halo - Changed my PS2 loving attitude towards the xbox.

Civ 2 on PS1 - because it's the only version of Civ on a console.

They are making a new version for ps3:D

Football manager 2008 - PC

Assassin's Creed - XBOX360 - Great game, sucked me right in

Stuntman - PS2 - Still playing this, best part of 6 years on

Evil Genius - PC - Great game, bit like C&C, but you're building your evil base in a mountain.

Resident Evil 2 - PSX - Loved the story line and it scared me ****less!

Metal Gear Solid - PSX - Again brill story line and plenty of places to use your noggin.

Call of Duty 4 - PC - Obviously

Battlefield 2 - PC - Absolutely epic maps, choppers, planes, tanks etc brilliant!

Toca Race Driver 3 - Brilliant fun with a steering wheel.

Wipeout/Wipeout 2097 - PSX - Brilliant sound track and hours of fun with mates.

Urban Terror - PC - Quake 3 Realism mod a nice alternative to CS

Quake 3 Arena - PC - Fast paced shoot em up.. who can argue?

Hehe, UT2004 - Facing worlds CTF, 64 players and instagib

I loved Facing Worlds in UT... sniper rifle, get up the tower... M..M..M..Monster Kill! :thumbup:

Football - Grass - Doesn't attract as many geeks

One of my all time favourites has to be Frontier: Elite 2! I spent hours and hours on that flying backwards and forwards between planets trading stuff... and trying to bountyhunt for people who I could never ever find!

Yep... I was addicted to first encounters.. I had a pimped up Viper mk2 with a class 2 milatary drive, a 4mw beam laser, a couple of sheild generators and a Hyperspace analyzer.

I am a champion Connect 4 player and win every time, as long as I'm red.

Gran Turismo's - PSX. Spent many hours playing these.

Metal Gear Solid - PSX. Loved the way it played, and how you had to play it.

Resident Evil - PSX. Great game play. Scary.

Medal Of Honour/Call Of Duty - PC. Spent loads of time playing on LAN with mates and on the net.

Worms - PS1. Simple fun.

UT2004 on the PC - Onslaught every time. The Homeworld series is pretty darned good as well.

Mario kart Wii on the (ahem) Wii oddly enough.

My all time favourite has to be Mario Galaxy.

I was lost in Shenmue on the DC, what a truly amazing game.

Again basic, but great fun as two player game.

Bit old I know, that was the last game I bought! (for my old Amiga)

Remember spending hours playing Quake 3 arena or Unreal Tournament at university once we hacked ourselves onto the network from our rooms. Even had another hall's warden joining in the fun. Was just silly mindless awesome fun.

Oh and the exclamations "Unstoppable" "Godlike"

I still play Quake 3 now (rail only TDM).

Other than that, CS source oh and of course, chess.
