Looking at buying my Mum a car for her birthday and was looking at a 1.4 automatic Fabia. Does anyone have any experience of the auto fabias.

Mainly decided to do this as she is disabled and last night I drove her current car (a nova) and couldn't believe how heavy it is drive.

Where are you mate? Ive got a fabia auto complete with hand controls (techmobility scl and indicator) glad for test drives etc. Great little car, goes better than the wifes previous focus 1.6, nice and lite steering, pretty nippy if a little juicy. PM or get me on messenger for a chat.....

With a nod to Andy I can say that the 1.4 16v with an auto box is certainly very good (my mum's got the Lupo) but a tad heavy on fuel. Only downside I can think of. Goes like **** off a shovel at the lights
