Please keep the thread clean and tidy, discuss pre-purchase and spec enquiries in http://briskoda.net/...rey-vrs/124339/. For any other discussions, first search for an appropriate thread, or start a new one if none exist.
This link isn't working for me.
Thanks

Edit: As mine is a 2011 FL VRS that concludes that it isn't an LE, wonder why the insurance description comes up aa an VRS LE.
Paul
Hmmm ,was wondering the same about mine! My V5 has the car as a TFSI.......when I put the reg inot a well known online price comparison site for insurance, it came up as a Limited Edition.......which also had a market value attached to it that I would bite someone's arm off if I could get it for that price - so that was changed!
My car is a 2011 FL 2litre petrol vRs in Candy White......it has integrated parking sensors and full (black) leather interior.......I see no hints that it is a limited edition......and as far as I know as it's a 2011, it should be a TSI engine??
I'm new to Skoda ownership......so go easy on me....but am I right?

Right, further research has led me to the conclusion that I have a 'bog standard' 2011 vRS TSI, no limited edition, but with the full leather upgrade and integarted parking sensor upgrade! So, DVLA and the unsurers database has got it wrong....

Picked up #480 Vrs LE from Sparshatts of Botley on Saturday.
Currently got 18,500 miles on the clock & will be keeping it for the next 2-3 years,we only average 6k miles a year, so mileage won't go up drastically.
Needed a family car for my newborn baby (22 days old)
Loving the CR type engine.

Loving the leather interior and the Bolero but nervous that I will end up with buckled wheels.

Don't worry too much. Mine has done 45k now and has one buckled (slightly). I picked up a couple cheap from a scrappy and picked up a few spares of another forum member for not too much more (I'm lucky to have a huge garage so space not an issue) so hopefully I'm covered in case any others go, but I think the key is to be careful, hope for the best, and keep an eye on them so if one does go then it can be repaired early before it gets too bad. If the worst does happen then I did see them new for like £120 (although Sod's law can't find the link now).
I did find out recently though that skoda have discontinued the part, and have had 'several' requests. They were (apparently) looking at reinstating them if interest was high so I'd suggest everyone goes to their dealer and asks about a price - the dealer won't be able to find it so will have to request the part number from skoda, which might prompt them into bringing it back (doubt it but can't hurt to try).
When the LE first came out I wasn't sure about the wheels. Now I have seen them on the car though I'd say they are a hell of a lot better than the neptunes and on a par with the zeniths - but as a little different and they set the car aside somewhat I'd prefer these to zeniths. If you do find that you want to replace them then you could always try for some standard VRS wheels on here as they do come up from time to time.
Of course, if you do decide to swap the wheels out give me a shout as I might be interested - or if not then another LE owner might be.......
