New clutch recommendation

Featured Replies

Hi there

Anyone got any clutch recommendations for about £600-700?

After weeks searching the net I have not got anywhere trying to find the right clutch at the right price. All I see on the web is £800-£1000+ for uprated clutches. There must be some decent uprated clutch out there for around £600-£700.

My project

Fab PD 150 VRS stage 2 hybrid 2222222222222222222222222222222222

(225hp-358 torque)

P.S I can handle some chatter but nothing that's going to make my fillings fall out :)

Look in the for sale section Deadmau5 is selling a Sachs unit for cheap.

Cheers Kiddy1,

My kit is for sale dude, check it out :)

Thx for that. I checked it out, Think my torque would chew that DMF up in no time though :(

Awesome gti du a full smf convertion 630 mate

For big torque a smf is the way to go imo

As above thats a bit much torque for an DMF. SMF is what you need.

I read a few reviews on C.G Motorsport clutches. I have not read anything bad about them yet. Was only today I phoned them, they quoted me £475 for stage 3 clutch that is road friendly, so they say anyway. Not sure what to think about the price, seems to cheap. Let me know what you think off there clutches and price.

What about the Southbend clutches? Any within your budget? They get very good reviews.
