SUNDAY 22ND JULY-NEW FOREST DRIVE AND BBQ

what shade of orange will they make orange coloured cars look?

Rumour has it that there was a man with an orange Lamborghini and a pet orang-utang named Clyde. He parked the Lamborghini under an orange streetlight, and nothing happened. Then the orang-utang (Clyde) ripped the man's face off because he was an improperly trained animal.

what films have you been watching lately? Are you confusing Face/Off with Anyway which you can

Worryingly, not those films. Just my mind at work. :D

However, orange cars under orange streetlights disappear.

yellow cars under orange streetlamps turn white!!!

Think I might check the area out later, it's a lovely day at the mo so will have a drive across, might leave Salisbury via the back roads too, thats a nice drive! If this works fancy making a monthly pub meet or every few months?

wish I'd known that earlier, I just got back from there!

Back from where? Salisbury or our meeting spot?

Going to have a look up there later tonight seems the weather is holding out :)

Had a quick look and the rules and regs of a BBQ in new Dorset and looks like we should be ok as long as it is a proper unit, so I will bring my charcole BBQ, anyone else going to bring their own BBQ either gas or coal? I will see if I can get a mini gas ring heater for pots and pans and also a few fire extinguished should anything exciting happen

I might be able to bring one but no promises... it can hold enough food for 5!

I can bring one, maybe two. Although with this weather as it is, we might need to bring waterproof charcoal :wonder:

... hence my gazebo plan. :giggle:

you'll have to rustle up a few ponies as anchors!

If worst comes to worst we can go to a pub? Will have to decide a few days before to see what weather is doing

Sounds good to me Ben... but it would be attendant-dependent (don't try saying that loads of times when you're ****ed :p ). As long as we had about 10 miscreants, they'd probably be happy to seat us without a booking. More than that, maybe not.

Failing that, I'll bring a flatpack shed with me to cook in... :D

There's a few McDonald's nearby also :D hopefully by the time this day comes around we will have some better weather. We can only wait and see, however as its my first meet with any other briskoda member I am quite excited come rain or shine

lol. yeah had the idea of pub in back of my mind as a backup plan!! sure we can find something to do if it rains!! have we got any veggies going? just wary of neededing to cook their seperarate or are we all animal eaters!! :D

I had thought about that, me and my good lady are meat eaters however I'm happy to cook / cater for

Others separately using a diff BBQ and utensils etc :) there are a few nice pubs near by ish, 1 in Bournemouth and 1 in fern down, great prices (lots of 2 for 1 deals)

I've added the event to the calender.

Mines been in there a while :p
