Yeti leather seats on Ebay

Well at least this set aren't blood stained like the last lot!

When I saw this topic I thought "oh not bloody AGAIN!"

They might just be the last lot but just washed this time... who knows.

Is the story worth a Search or is it too nasty?!

...And yes it is pretty grim.

Agreed. I wouldn't want to benefit in this way from someone else's misfortune.

What I can't fathom is that if the seller could have been bothered to valet them no-one would any the wiser, no questions probably would have been asked

It wouldn't have altered their origins or the circumstances one iota

Where do people think these parts come from? Mainly scrapped cars I'm guessing

Why has a 2010 car been scrapped? Because it's been badly enough damaged to be written off

If they'd been clean would anyone really have thought twice whether someone was badly injured or killed?

I personally wouldn't have bought them in the advertised state, merely asking the question

You're right Brimma. I think (in my view) I was more perplexed about the seller not cleaning them, than by where they came from. There is no point NOT selling them just because of the circumstances. If that were an issue in this world, we'd never be able to sell the houses of little old ladies that passed away in the night (after a long and fruitful life)...

When I was selling my parents' house, several potential purchasers immediately backed off when they asked if - and were given a truthful positive answer - both my parents had died in it. Extraordinary.

^ how strange!

Maybe a religious thing? Spirits remaining?

It's a strange world we live in

Yes. I sleep in the exact "air space" where the previous owner of my home died. I'm still here and I still sleep...

Many years ago my sister bought a very old cottage in Somerset.

When they'd moved in the locals said,"So you're the people that bought Murder Cottage".

You can work the rest out for yourselves....

Priceless!

I once bought a little 17th century cottage in a Norfolk village. In the village pub I was taken to one side and told "there was a murder in that house". I asked "when" and nobody seemed to know. Some while later I came across a 'local history society' and with their help discovered that the murder had happened in 1632!

I own a 17th century house on the Suffolk/Norfolk border so I'm sure many people have died and been born here. You've got to love this Yeti forum where we start off with a set of Yeti seats and end up with the history of a local murder.... :bandit:

Suffolk/Norfolk border ... I've lived in that territory; at Eye in Suffolk and at Rushall in Norfolk. Spent much of my childhood at Needham, near Harleston (as opposed to Needham Market).

Rushall Half Moon is good for a bite and a pint of Adnams.....

My godfather was vicar at Rushall when I was a kid - he taught me to ring the bell in the church tower! I moved from there in about 1988 to Eye (until about 1991) then moved to North Norfolk.

So your homes may have witnessed several murders :)
