How many sheets do u need to cover a car? The link says it's for 40 sheets. Is that enough, too much?

Same stuff I used (bought on Amazon), works well. Surfaces need to be clean and warm if you can, also watch the edges it's bloody sharp.

Not a guide a such. Lots of pics in my project thread. Looks like mine are smaller sheets. I bought a box of 30 for around £25. Done all the doors and have about 10 left.

I did my whole boot, I'll get some pics.  

 

I'm still in 2 minds if its made a big difference, as there is still quite a lot of road noise, probably need a realignment done before I will notice a difference.

Back in the day when I restored various cars and built a kit car I used stick on bitumen  pads to great effect for soundproofing  - particularly good on the bulkhead of my Etype Jag replica , drastically reduced noise and booming. The big advantage of bitumen pads is they are quite thin so don't interfere with existing carpets etc , and they are cheap!

 

I additionally used traditional felt (or similar) soundproofing where space allowed
