  1. ^^^ Right there is a different vehicle. a 6 speed DSG and not a 7 speed as the OP has.
  2. The 2018/19 issue was then this is now. The early stuff does not really have relevance. Other thn how long they denied there were issues. Unsafe cars. They even had ones off the road for months and people driving loan cars. Last year they managed apparently to build and then sell to people vehicles having issues. They must have been messing about with Engine Management so you need Skoda / VW Group to accept that there are issues now with year old or less cars.
  3. Where was that. Top of the cross hatch area? What is it a 1.6 TDI?
  4. Sadly ARNOLD CLARK is an issue only too often. Can you say where it is now, as in which part of the UK? So not a SKODA APPROVED CAR. So what is missing in the service history that stopped it being one? Maybe best leave someone else to touch it with their barge pole.
  5. And was the oil level correct after the service, checked cold and checked @ operating temperature? The level was not rising as it got diluted with diesel was it? Was it VW504 00 / 507 00 used at the service. 5w 30 FS III
  6. @lew1232 Welcome. So is 'this engine' a TDI. EDIT. I see yes.
  7. Go with like by like as in a 2019/ 2020 2.0 litre with the same DSG. Post WLTP Vertification. Forget what earlier ones by a year or 2, or 3 Some being Pre-WLTP Certification. & also ones that might have and 1,6 TDi,s with DQ200 DSG.
  8. CAZOO Group apparently could be about to call in the administrators. But, for their subsidiaries CAZOO Holdings, Cazoo Ltd. 'As a result , the subsidiaries are protected from creditors debt enforcement. Able to operate as normal etc etc. Others will get to take a hit and as usual there will be plenty getting paid plenty...
  9. @Gaz posted this earlier in the About to buy a Skoda section. Very handy to have. Be sure they are doing as they should. Not just expecting where it came from to have done.
  10. No problems then. The Technician opening the bonnet to see the car arriving from where ever is A1 can move their eyes to where the heat mat should be. Then fit the upgrade if required. ? Which dealership group is moving it from one place to another? Where are you in the country? Get the Service history certificate. Get the history of any Warranty Work, Service Campaign work etc. Ask as many questions as come to mind. They charge a premium for Approved Used Cars. The car should be finished to a high standard. Correctly serviced....
  11. You are not going to get it Up Plated even if you find people advertising that they can. As to the 1.4 TSI engine, ECU etc, is that coming from some crashed vehicle? A 150 ps one?
  12. Welcome. Is it a SKODA APPROVED USED CAR? The RIGOROUS CHECKS SHOULD BE DONE. For the Warranty they are putting on it. The CAR SERVICED TO THE MANUFACTURERS GUIDELINES, RECOMMENDATIONS, SCHEDULES or SPECIFICATION. EDIT. I see you have taken the optional 2 year warranty. What were you getting, only 12 months? Which recall? ask, Engine Cover, DSG mat Recall or both or something else? AdBlue is for diesels not petrols. If it has a cambelt VW / Skoda changed the Replacement to 180,000 miles / 15 years if people want to go that long. It is a timing chain is it not! HALDEX / AWD Service, @ 3 years / 30,000 miles. For DQ381,s the DSG Service is at 80,000 miles, or sooner if someone wants. Oil change intervals are Variable @ 18,000-20,000 miles / 24 months unless changed to Fixed & 9,400 miles, 12 months. Spark plugs are due replacing at 4 years or 40,000 miles. Pollen Filter every 2 years or sooner. Air Filter supposedly at 6 years. Should be inspected at each service and replaced when required. Brake fluid at 3 years then each 2 years.
  13. @MurrayKhodd Welcome. Is that there stage 1 map for running on 98 ron & is that what is in the tank? (Out of interest which gearbox has your car?) http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/509723-octavia-3-18-tsi-remap-and-6m-gearbox-limitations
  14. There are EV drivers that could not care less about overstay charged be that £10 or 30 or £1 a minute they just charge until they are returning or maybe u till full. This has 29 % to go and is already 15 minutes over max charging time. 50 kW charger.
  15. He clearly is a supporter. He is always in their team colour. You know when you have been Tangoed.
