  1. Hi, I have my car. It was apparently "serviced" prior to being sold however I was not given any paperwork. My folder contains the service sheets for the first few services. There is no servicing information in the Owners Manual. MySkoda doesn't appear to be very interesting. - Does Australia use service books or electronic record keeping? - How do you access the electronic records? - Is there a document which lists the required servicing schedule? Thanks Andrew
  2. ET is the offset. the distance from the center of the wheel to the hub face.
  3. Hi I'm thinking of purchasing one. I'm not going to be doing any major surgery on my car adding modules. I'll just be using it for checking and turning a few things on/off. I don't own a laptop although I may have wireless coverage in my driveway. VCDS is 700 (Wireless is about 900) and OBDEleven is 230 Am I correct that neither give you access to things like setting fuel rail pressure etc? Only modules and configuration. Any regrets with OBDEleven?
  4. Is this the item in the build sheet? 174 QK1 VWGROUP KAS With multifunction camera
  5. For your car. If you lowered it 20mm that would be the same as a sportsline? or is that lowering 20mm down on a sportsline level?
  6. Hi, As the title suggests I would like to know peoples experience in the maximum spacer size that can be used without fouling the guards on a 206kw 4x4? I'm just trying to get an idea of the outer space envelope. If you could through up your spacer experience and tyre size that would be awesome. Thanks Andrew
  7. Hmmmm 49530 GBP @ 0.53 is 93,452 AUD …….. and your worried about the front mud flaps?
  8. Ok, I see what you mean. Go to the Vehicle Specific Information > Go to Disk Brakes in Front = 1LA Look up Brake Systems and go to Technical data for brake and there is 1LA.
  9. So…. Is the PR list the build sheet with the packs or is there actually a part number listing. I didn’t notice a parts list on the ewin site.
  10. The pin gets stuck. push it in slightly like you would when opening and then repeatedly click lock and open on the remote. It should pop open if your lucky.
  11. It’s the same for all states. Fuel standards are a federal thing. I promise I will not fill with 91 or E10.
  12. 91, 95, 98 contain basically the same amount of energy per kilogram so in theory the same millage. E10 is up to 10% ethanol with 91 and contains about 3% less energy than straight petroleum. I wouldn’t say I’m using a lot of throttle and spend most of the time under 2000 rpm but there are hills and some stop start traffic. Martinib seems to have similar urban figures. They’re good figures JR. Similar to the book figures. It’s about double my 125TDI Superb. That said I did buy it because it has the Golf R drive train.
  13. Hi, I've been driving around in the car for a few weeks now and although its taking forever to drain the tank I notice that the fuel computer is telling me that on a local trip I'm getting 13.4 L/100km and on a bit of an extended drive about 12.5L/100km. That's quite a bit different to 9.8 Urban and 6.9 Extra Urban. I have know idea what they filled it with at the dealership but E10 should only be about 3% worse. I'm assuming it doesn't have a tank of 91. What do you guys get driving about?
  14. Hmmmm. China isn’t communist? Thats the kind of bull**** I’d expect from their foreign ministry.
  15. That’s not what Chinas doing. It putting up barriers for foreign manufacturers but it will not enforce it on the domestic manufacturers which the CCP owns. They are communists. They own everything. As the founder of Alibaba found out. They want to export electric vehicles (they can’t compete against ice). And they have all of elons technology so at some point they’ll get rid of Elon. And they don’t detune our cars because of fuel quality. That’s a myth put about by greenies. They detune our cars because we thrash them in temperatures up to 48 degrees in the shade with the aircon on full bore. For some reason they don’t trust us.
  16. I’m not sure the claim that China is euro 6 compliant is based on any reality. I think they say they are targeting which is not really the same. The Chinese say one thing and do the complete opposite because it suits them in the perverse CCP way. The Chinese are on the UN Human Rights Commission….. but that doesn’t stop them raping and torturing their own citizens.
  17. We’ve always brought in emissions standards a number of years after Europe and Japan. That’s been the case from at least the 80s.
  18. I think this covers it . CJX has MPI apparently. I'll have a look under the engine cover if it stops raining to see if it has the port injectors.
  19. I noticed on carsales the 2019 Golf R is described as Direct and Multi-Point fuel injection. The 206 Sportsline is described as Direct Injection. The AUS Skoda is only 4 injectors not 8?
  20. If your going down that path you should really spend money on advanced driver training and some one on one training with a professional driver. They make a massive difference to your learning.
  21. Would there be a thread that covers that somewhere?
  22. Yep. Most Golf Rs I looked at had sunroofs. I don’t see the point. Can’t use them in winter, summer or the rain. They are heavy, usually take up headroom and for some reason the drains get blocked causing problems. I’ve had leather for the last ten years and it hasn’t been a problem. My dads first car was a white type 3 TLE fastback. After an afternoon at the beach in summer the black vinyl would melt the skin off your arse. The chrome buckles were something special.
  23. I must have MIB2.5. No physical buttons and dvd/SD card in the glovebox. thanks
