I'm not being overtaken by a ten year old Skoda! *$X&^>
Stonesie replied to Andy ap's topic in Off Topic Chat
My old barge was excellent chav bait, F reg BMW estate in white, looked standard but lowered, even had a quiet exhaust and tow bar.... And a 206bhp/185lb:ft 2.8 six force feeding a limited slip diff, I think the 316i Badge helped. -
Reported again, maybe if they get a mountain of reports about the same item they will take it down, or inform Essex Police to see if they would like a chat with the seller.

Surely I can't be the only one with a numpty for a girlfriend?

The ex once came home a bit excited "I've seen the perfect car for us, it was gorgeous, perfection on wheels" Sounds great, what was it? A blue one.... Laughing was a bad move but I couldn't help it -
Might as well submit the toy bike The cars Citrus Yellow... looks Green to me though http://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/547503_10151624671028436_971947970_n.jpg

I can't decide if it's nice or not to know that most dealers are the same, when I got mine a basic service they wanted £250 for front discs and pads because of a ridge in the disc... It's less than 0.5mm round the outer edge and the pads look nearly new. No! thanks.

The Rapid: First Impressions

That's very much on a par with my Leon diesel... Not making my decision on my next car any easier. -
Isn't it funny (and two-faced) of everyone.........

I have always used it in a light harted way, the Halfords Professional tools are excellent and much cheaper than other lifetime warranty brands, never had a problem exchanging a broken tool either and I've only ever broken cracker bars. -
People pulling out on me and then barely moving, 10~15 in a 40 is taking the.... The worst was a 'all the gear, no idea' cyclist AKA Lycra Lout... Looked straight at me then wobbled down the road, the git was all over the place. I feel I must reveal that I'm a bus driver, one of the nice ones though and I was in a white/pink/blue double decker at the time, maybe I should get something bigger so they can see me

RE the Fascia, Google led me straight back to Here Or they are on on Ebay for quite a mark-up... Dear me, not even ordered one yet and I'm figuring out mods

And there I was, all set to spec up a citigo and now it turns out I could get a rapid se for about the same...

The MINI is built in Oxford, think Honda still have a factory in the UK too, and there's lotus. Probably more.

I've had that one, when he asked if I had any questions I replied "just one, does your phone do this?" And hung up... I got a prank call shortly after, can't think who that could have been...

Same here, I do carry passengers in the back occasionally so 5 door is the way to go, I wouldn't consider it to add much value at trade-in/sale time though.

I've seen a fair few Up's. 3 Citigo's And 1 Mii, always at night but those rear lights are distinctive.

Went to Barnsley seat today, unimpressed... Salesman was talking utter drivel and then offered way below what I would ever accept for the Leon (5.5K for a 51K 59plate car with FSH and in good condition) and tied to sell me a used example for £800 more than a higher spec brand new one (both toca's but the new one had citysafe*... and free insurance so probably another £2-300 right there) Although I do prefer the red dial illumination. * Salesman kept insisting it was lane assist but refused to check the cars spec.

Not much, at work I've seen it all, on the bike I'm used to the idea that 98% of car drivers are as bright as a blown bulb and will probably try to kill me so I have to try to allow for them. I do hate people driving on the side/fog lights at night, and aftermarket hid kits in reflector headlights.

I'm wondering what Superchips will come up with as I like the idea of the Bluefin unit. Onto the question, after experiencing 2 SEAT dealer's and being unimpressed with either I am thinking the Skoda will be my choice... Todays seat salesman wanted to give me 5.5K for a 59 plate Leon with 51K miles and also tried to get me interested in a 2K mile demonstrator TOCA for 9995, when a brand new one is 9149 at the moment with added Citysafe, which he tried to convince me was 'lane assist' and a years free insurance...

Without reading all 35 pages I hope this is not a re-post but there is a quad bike that I have seen a few times at Squires (biker orientated pub/coffee place in Sherburn) which is, TO55 ERS

Not as yet, I didn't think there was much point pursuing it that far until I had a chat worth the the bank manager about digging the leon out of negative equity. I could do that within days if i could bring myself to sell my 'Toy' (http://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/299828_10150441252198436_1007739298_n.jpg) bigger pic than I thought, but it's also the reason I don't really want a fast car... Fun, with gadgets to keep my inner child amused will do for me, and cheap running costs to help me get more bike time will be nice too.

That's good to know, I may well do that depending on how the chat with the bank manager goes next week, something about ppi I have been a bit lost on my browsing, found a thread by BossFox and I'm up to page 28...

Hi folks, I' Matt from Doncaster and I'm here for a good look around, at the moment I drive a yellow-ish-green Seat Leon but things have changed and I now need to reduce costs so I am looking at the Citigo and Mii as I can have a new one on PCP for much less then I'm paying for the Leon (for some reason I don't fancy the Up, strange as they're all the same underneath). I like the look of this site, so with that I'm off for a browse
