That would suggest that there's a hardware update to go with it to make it compatible with further and future software.

Why not say a Mk4? So much simpler for us non technical bods.

Took it for a trip down to Liphook and back to Send before giving it a quick chase up to Newlands Corner and Abinger Hammer and it does seem to be a lot quieter and because the tyres on the back are new not pushing it anywhere near what I would, however it has improved from what it was.

Just an update. Took the car to Guildford tyres and found that the tracking was out on it, but also the rear tyres were shot, after advice I had two new tyres (call me mad 2x Michelin Pilot Sport4) and the tracking corrected and it has sorted it out. Cost £280 instead of £433. So thanks very much for your help and advice regarding the tracking and tyres. Most appreciated. 🙂

I agree, however tends to grate when the same people whinge and whine about it and Maximus is one of the worst, yet others who are in the same position remain patiently quiet.

You lot still mithering about the wait? It's like a stuck record! I'm thinking of cancelling the order, not because of the wait, but software and hardware issues, but not yet as I'm watching the ongoing situation with it.

You can't say that. The entire automotive industry has been caught out and should be roundly criticised for being so dependent on Asia for its microprocessors and Eastern Europe for other parts. Most people know that the reason being that wages and other costs are so much lower in Asia and Eastern Europe than in Western and Central Europe where costs are higher, but it really is time to cut the dependence on those and have microprocessor and electronic component factories in the UK, Western and Central Europe instead.

Well if you love the Korean crap then, buy one and go to the Kia Owners Club, I found it is a sterile place which is a bit like North Korea... Any sort of humour or dissenting voices and you get banned. Very much a woke brigade place, where it's easy to get cancelled. You won't change my opinion on Kia and its cars. Awful engines, Awful gearboxes, awful economy. And a customer service team who make the North Koreans seem nice.

I've had two Kia and both were 💩. Delamination of wheels, split seats, a DAB radio that would stop the sat nav, a sat nav that sent me around and around in circles and instead of taking me where I wanted to go, took me right back to square one. Sat nav that cost me £90 a pop to update. A radio that wouldn't store my favourite stations. But would auto tune to the twaddle like Radios 1 and 3! Poor handling, fuel consumption that make an alcoholic look like a tee totaler. Auto park that couldn't park in a space without leaving a good 8-10" gap between the car and the kerb, headlights that would be outshone by an LED torch and customer service that makes Putin and other despots seem likeable.

This is the BMW version of it... Must be a glut or job lot on offer, seen one of these and it's not good.

The fuel consumption for a start, poor handling, rubbish infotainment system. Et al.
