Mk 3 to Mk 4
I was going to suggest a Sportline Karoq, which had 190 bhp, similar size quite well specced up, but its been discontinued by the looks of it.

Mk 3 to Mk 4
I've had mine on order since March 22 and heard nothing yet, I ordered another RS so get different options, like you had the free rear wiper, and just a couple of options like winter packs as it comes pretty well loaded. The one thing that does concern, like you is the software issues that have been prevalent on the car and the lack of urgency to remedy them. I'm going to be been a 4.5 version as I doubt it will be built this year and not expecting to see it until February or March 23. I am hoping that at this rate of progress, that my car will get any new hard and software revisions as a matter of course and that problems minimal.

Permanently disabling Engine Sound Generator
It's far less hassle to go the OBD11 or VCDS route, and it's easily reversible.

Permanently disabling Engine Sound Generator
You can do it via OBD11 or VCDS I think.. Or give a 3rd party skoda specialist to do it for you for a small fee, which is probably the best option if you're cack handed and have a tenancy to screw things up.

Usb port on rear view mirror.
Thanks for that. I want to have the phone in a cradle so I can use Waze or Google Maps and just glance at it. I have it in a Baseus wireless charger cradle at the moment which is attached to a Brodit Clip on the A pillar. I have specified the wireless charging option on the car, but I've heard that it's not that good or powerful, so may struggle to charge my Galaxy S22 Ultra whilst driving. Also don't know if Waze and Google Maps will appear on the cockpit display. So I think that I'd prefer to have a charging cradle and Brodit clip arrangement.

Usb port on rear view mirror.
Can someone please tell me if this would carry enough voltage/power to supply both a dash cam and a wireless charging cradle such as Quad Lock for a Galaxy S22 Ultra. Thanks..

So many errors...
I'm questioning whether I want to own it, full stop! What is it now 2 years, coming on 3 and they STILL haven't fixed all of the errors, really not good enough.

So many errors...
Why am I having second thoughts about my new RS. 😕

Winter wheels
If I can find the funds the wheels will be 18"ers, not going for the 17s, too tight clearances and the speedo is going to out as well, so I'll stick with the 18"ers

Octavia RS in Mamba Green
I nearly ordered it, but in the end went for the red, if they did and RS exclusive colour like Race Blue used to be and it was easy a beautiful deep metallic red, deep blue or even a emerald green, then I'd probably go for it. I just felt that it (mamba green) was too conspicuous and hard to live with of you're feeling a bit sensitive the day after the night before, also if you've been a bit naughty out on the road then you're lot easier to find.

Winter wheels
Thanks but I don't want to import them as I'd have to pay significant carriage fees, also VAT and Import fees as well. I've got some for this car and they're 17" one's I think.

Winter wheels
Been told that I could expect it either in December or January so middle of winter. I may be jumping the gun on it, but nature has a nasty way of levelling up after exceptionally warm weather.

Winter wheels
I live up in the Surrey Hills, the road upto the house is about 1:7 , also the route to work has several hills on it, so winter tyres would be the best option as so to cover "all the bases" and it's an RS I'm getting so the small wheel rims aren't an option, I'd have thought that the minimum would be 18" rims and tyres.

Winter wheels
Hi. In anticipation of getting my new car in the next few months, I'll be thinking about getting some winter wheels and tyres, so could anyone point me in the right direction when it comes to rims and sizes please. TIA

Possible to completely disable (permanently) Kessy / Keyless entry?
No, Because it's so unreliable at the moment.

Number plates
I've got pressed steel plates, which are stuck on. They will be stuck on the new one too.

Disable wireless charger?
You could always put two bits of card (Amazon box) with a bit of tin foil (take away container) glued between them. Black paint done. Then a rectangle of non slip webbing and it's job done.

Help with replacement Bridgestone on 2022 vRS
Because I couldn't find the 6s. I'm not going to think about it until nearer the time anyway, but I don't like Bridgestones or Pirelli tyres anyway.

Help with replacement Bridgestone on 2022 vRS
If these are on mine when it arrives, then I'll be looking at changing the tyres ASAP. I'll be looking at some Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric 5s.

Unable to choose service partner in app
Yep a nice dent in their wallet for their ignorance.

Sat Nav works in KM rather than Miles
Why would you want to use the built-in system when you get better results using Waze or Google Maps?🤔

At long last... SW Version 1896
I thought you would be happy as Larry the voice not being Laura or Sonia.

At long last... SW Version 1896
Consider it a wonderful thing, no one wittering at you. I tried numerous times to get the VR system on my current car to accept voice communication and it never has done so, so don't bother with it. It's more of a hinderence than a help.

Just rename her Sonia. She gets Sonia nerves. - Laura
