Try to loosen when cold then retighten , then go for a run , then loosen to drop oil , heat will have made it tighter

This was stone cold. Civic exhaust is nicely placed for burning your arms when doing a filter so I decided it was better cold :) Don't have this issue on the Fabia, filters last 3-6 months and don't get so tight, despite doing the same miles in 6months as the Civic does annually.

Did you oil the seal? This helps a lot.

Yep, done about 1000 miles on a set of four, and one is scrap now. No longer available in that pattern so 2 new ones needed.

I had to replace one of my Nokians a couple of weeks ago, about 2K miles old and a screw in the inside block of tread meant it couldn?t be repaired ;0(

Mine may be repairable, its near the edge but not too close. Bigger issue is that it was completely flat when I pulled over, deflated very quickly.

can the Firmware be updated? That might help fix some issues.

Bradford one is terrible wait with just a few customers. Keighley one is dead quiet and better customer service :)

LOL. and is the Skoda Logo Scary or even looks like the Griffon.

(Vauxhall logo looks nothing like a little dog IMO)
