  1. The seals are prone to failure no matter the edition. My point was that water is very sneaky, i have seen it in MX-5 too. Also my rear windshield seal had a problem once, only in one spot and only in uphill and after heavy rain, in all other occasions nothing happened and this caused me a headache. Here was the result:
  2. It's a perfect idea, take a look an example (not my Felicia) from where the water was coming inside the trunk. Only when the car was in uphill (lot of rain towards the trunk), sneaky wan entering beneath the seal, behind the plastic covers (not visible from outside) and drop-by-drop inside the trunk. In light rain or when the car was straight-downhill nothing happened, was a real painful situation, no matter how i had tried (sealing the tail lights etc) i could fins the reason. The only way after a lot of efforts was this: one mechanic was outside with water-hose and the other inside, after some minutes of waiting the real cause was found. We won ! 😁
  3. The European Union is set to overhaul the continent’s transport sector with a sweeping plan to phase out older passenger vehicles. The initiative targets the gradual removal of polluting and unsafe cars from European roads, beginning in 2026 with vehicles meeting Euro 1 standards, and extending to all models up to Euro 6 by 2050. Greece, with one of the oldest car fleets in Europe, is at the center of this transition. The average age of Greek private vehicles exceeds 17 years, compared to a European average of 12 to 13 years. Under the EU proposal, developed in collaboration with the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), cars that fail to meet modern safety and emissions standards will be retired in stages: 2026: Euro 1 vehicles (1992–1996) 2030: Euro 2 vehicles (1996–2000)
  4. Buy the orinigal,is CHAMPION as the spark plugs.
  5. These are some examples from my MPG. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/512393-cooling-system-problem-again-in-my-felicia/page/3/#findComment-5946337 https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/512393-cooling-system-problem-again-in-my-felicia/page/3/#findComment-5945839 https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/512393-cooling-system-problem-again-in-my-felicia/page/5/#findComment-5955158 https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/512393-cooling-system-problem-again-in-my-felicia/page/6/#findComment-5959014 https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/512393-cooling-system-problem-again-in-my-felicia/page/6/#findComment-5959514 https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/512393-cooling-system-problem-again-in-my-felicia/page/6/#findComment-5960293 In the past i had even 14,7 / 100 km or 19.22 British MPG which was a terrible result and took me at least a year to find the solution and was not only 1, was a heaps of faults (small or even less) which all together made my Felicia spend more fuel than it should be.
  6. That's 10.4 ltr/ 100 Km which is reasonable in hard city traffic. This is your average fuel consumption? No need for 99 RON gasoline in an every day cool driving style. That's impossible, the hole beneath the cap is free from debris etc?
  7. Afte how many Km's we must change this? Mine is the latest model (2000) so it's 30mm? Even the head gasket?

  11. GR is not USA were you can restomod (new fuel injection engine etc) a Corvette and have it as an everyday car. With new ECU i had a guarantee from the programmer (and indeed proved right because the new ECU didn't worked properly after a while and the programmer return it back and took another) but for a 1st generation ABS? I don't know what part must i buy and who's going to guarantee that the whole project will work properly? I case of problems could i find someone to fix it or i will run my car with faulty ABS system? I had some issues with thermostats-radiator fan etc and my car was immobilized, i don't want this to happen in brakes e.g. for a sensor.
  12. You already know that our ''democratic'' government (a puppet of Carbon Fee rules of EU) soon will start ''hunt'' cars like Felicia which has Euro 2. They will make us to pay extra taxes so many of us will be forced to sell it as parts. https://popek.gr/2023/foros-anthraka-sta-euro5-ix-apo-to-2028/ I will be happy if i manage to keep my Trusty for another 4 years till my retirement, maybe after this the whole cost would be unbearable so how could i risk spend another 1000 euros for ABS on it?
  13. Looks a 1000 euro project to me and sort of gamble. Used parts-refurbished-some new trying to make them work together. Who's going to install them? Ok let's say that someone did it,i case that something will go wrong in the future then where you are going to refer to? Mechanics below 40 years old don't know anything about Felicia.
  14. https://www.autoparts-24.com/item/D_0023_990683/ Skoda FELICIA (6U1) ABS pump 422 euro 😲
  15. The whole system plus the mechanic's labour work for remove it-install to another car would cost around ?
  16. The TC-6 worthed the extra cost, very helpful but as for the 1st generation ABS i am not convinced that worth to install it. Too much cost and effort.
  17. First generation ABS problems: First-generation ABS problems often stem from aging components like faulty wheel speed sensors, damaged sensor wires (from road debris), worn wheel bearings/tone rings, or issues with the electronic control module (ECU/EBCM) or pump, leading to the ABS/Traction Control lights illuminating, incorrect speed readings, or brake lock-up/pulsation during hard braking. These systems rely on precise wheel speed data, so any disruption from corrosion, physical damage, or wear triggers failures, often manifesting as the dashboard warning lights
  18. I agree that's why in Highways were the speed is 80-100 Km i am very cautious and i keep a bigger distance from the leading vehicle. Plus with the great fear of aquaplaning while it rains i don't dare to make an overtake like this idiot: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DR44oKJkalJ/
  19. When i bought my Felicia the seller offered a package for 700 euro, was ABS plus airbags but i didn't had the money for this. Although the 1st ABS generation had some ''issues'' in speeds below 30 km, i admit than in rain (National Highway) i would feel more ''secure'' if i had it. I have locked my brakes in emergency situations 3 times, was not a pleasure experience.
  20. A Felicia with different suspension, different tyres, different brake pads-disks-fluid will bring different results. Speed was? I mean this was a 60km-0?
  21. Here is the right main light, thankfully it's OK except the plastic part below. As for the W5W bulb:
  22. I found the culprit, the b@st@rd has a taxi like wreckage and does not care if he hits-scratches other cars. Scratches all over plus has a broken light, he parked illegally his taxi inside a square !
