Yeah i like it a lot but have to say in sport its very loud inside😁 in drive it just purrs when you cruising but also pops on upshifts when you apply more throttle but more civilized... It works exactly same way like factory via mode selection or by tapping gear lever into sport...just one back box unit got blanked and other moved to centre box

I think in English its called ,,ricer,,😁 You are of course entitled to opinion and i absolutely get that it may not be everyone's cup of tea ( my missus is one of them😆) don't worry no offence taken😎 To my defence...i bought superb sportline 280 for what it is...quickest Skoda and only thing that is missing in my eyes is louder exhaust. On the few occasions i do put it in Sport mode i really do want to have more exhaust note. Otherwise deep note of exhaust with closed valves will be fine with me... If i wanted quiet car i would bought L&K

I'm also very curious mate. Yes and no....yes the car on youtube video has also different downpipe but the Arteon has different set up on exhaust valves- they open automatically once you go over 3k rpm, that's what the company assured me of. Of course there will be videos and pictures😉

So after almost 9 weeks since I've placed order my new cat-back system has arrived from Germany. It's getting fitted on Saturday so there will be plenty of evidence both in video and picture form😎😈 also got certificate with it to say it's EU approved sport exhaust😛

That is really strange... You might consider yourself lucky based on fact that there are few people around on this forum who wish their 280 would restart in Sport mode😁😎 If its on dash only and not on head unit something is steering me towards issue with gear lever/selector. But i might be wrong... I had gear knob replaced under warranty 18 months ago and then i wasn't able to take it out of P at all as it still thought its in gear.... That's the only logical explanation... But that's just my assumption

They should come out pretty easily if you wiggle them out gently, I've replaced both reverse and indicator bulbs for LEDs. One thing i would be really careful about is refitting them back...make sure the seal at the back is flush and wires aren't trapped somewhere. I've learnt the hard way and did get condensation in one of the rear lamps for about a year

Not sure but it feels quite fast😂👀 On serious note, Skoda is known for stating lower than actual figures on paper (VAG group politics) There has been plenty of people who dyno'ed their 280 superbs to find that they are pushing close if not over 300bhp JB4 claims 45bhp from map1 and up to 100bhp from map 2/custom map with bolt on modifications and high octane fuel. Real life could probably see gains of up to 70bhp (guessing) I will have it checked on rolling road once my exhaust system arrives😎

I cant agree more with above comments...you buy a car whatever it is...fast, slow, cheap, expensive, classic or new thing on market. In the end of day car is made for one purpose ...to get you, your passengers and whatever you carry from A to B. For some people it is purely metal thing on 4 wheels that serves as work horse, for others it's a member of family... Their pride and joy. There was a chap on here who had L & K superb pushing 560hp...0-60 in 2.9.... So again the argument could be....is it really worth extra 30k spent on mods when your thrill of getting to legal limit lasts barely 3 seconds? It's your car so i say absolutely! It's all about putting your own touch into it...if everyone was sensible car scene would be very boring, there would be no dragsters, no static cars, no rally cars, no drift cars etc etc ....

No it is correct, i live in Jersey and do ferry to France and then drive across Europe to Germany/Austria/Czech Republic.... I just don't know what to really say when people ask this...it's almost like you live in a place where top speed limit is 40mph, why do you modify your car? Jersey actually has one of the highest concentration of super cars per square mile in the world so this question would probably be more justified towards someone with Mclaren or lambo than me adding 50 odd hP to my Skoda. People buy cars and never drive them etc....it takes all sorts.

So had my JB4 installed on Thursday. Been using map 1 until today. Today i had engine oil done also dsg & haldex oil changed. Then i refuelled with higher octane fuel and switched to map 2.... OMG.... I thought with Map 1 there was difference but Map 2 just feels crazy...in the best possible way.... It pulls really hard and gearbox seems to be shifting bit later too when pushing it... Obviously i won't be using it full stop. Map 1 will be always on though... Just waiting for exhaust system from Germany and then i will be happy man😁

Fair to say that it is definitely important to have your haldex pump taken out and cleaned when you changing haldex oil...this is mine after 18k and it is the second change already👀

I already do 😁 fitted it today and wow...map 1 what a difference... Will have it on dyno out of interest once exhaust arrives. Yes exhaust has been ordered 4th of March...just today i spoke to that company and it will get sent next week😎
