  1. Yes, the same here, 25" for driver`s side. However this size is available only from Skoda, so the options are 24" or 26". I find 26" clears more of the surface of the windscreen. Been using them for years. P.S. Bosch wipers work excellent in frost. The original ones tend to freeze, become stiff (even if you clean them or work with anti ice stuff) and degrees below 5 celsius do not work at all. Engineering fault - too many tiny channels which gather moisture / ice.
  2. Bosch Aerotwin Plus AP26U Bosch Aerotwin Plus AP21U Just notice Bosch driver`s wiper is 2 cm taller than the original, but works great.
  3. I have set the battery voltage low enough for SS with VCDS to disable it to engage. Permanently off. Have not even tried if the switch will turn it (temporarily) back.
  4. For puncture buy a cheap compressor and this kit: https://www.amazon.co.uk/wlw-XtremeAuto-TRIKE-PUNCTURE-REPAIR/dp/B07FW34M8Z/ref=sr_1_4?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.LCJW6obdVwiwt-MYnXAXmaPnfFzIyLT0AcZGb0zlFKQC_eU0k8kKSIA89rDebD8NVWSHXj449JHcpmH8BxrwY0s7UJkDXBDOxDCpm_MnDdnAUoeXHlP4UJJKCkhv0Zsxx0fWqdCTj1U9ynfKVx5Qug.Twf9XGwAuiRbjKT0uTBvVGrvpaZIPen_6UChoMyDf_M&dib_tag=se&keywords=tyre%2Brepair%2Bkit&qid=1705241670&sr=8-4&th=1
  5. Just reminder, my RS is diesel from the first years of RS, it had 240 BHP and 500 Nm out of factory. RS has steering with variable gear ratio and adjustable schocks, so runs great without any mods.
  6. That`s why I do not trust any third party diagnostic tools except VCDS. Even OBD11 can brick your ECU if the moon phase is wrong.
  7. Will check tomorrow, if it is possible to access the battery section with OBD11. This one is cheaper to buy than VCDS. Based on experience you need one of these, if driving VAG produced car. I have both though.
  8. Why did you replace it with EFB battery, not the AGM one, which should be more effective? I am just about changing the battery too.
  9. @pvodozI bought AAwireless, as that was the only one back then couple of years ago to provide wireless Android Auto. Today there are several options available, for example Ottocast, which also enables Netflix and Youtube. For charging I use cigarette lighter socket with quick charge dongle. Sometimes car`s QI carge pad, but that that way the phone tends to overheat.
  10. I had the same story. I even had the USB sockets changed under the warranty, but nothing changed. I finally bought some expensive cable, which worked more or less, as did the Samsung original cable, unless you didn`t touch or move the USB plug. The connection must be very stiff. Finally I bought Android Auto wireless dongle, which works flawlessly.
  11. I think it`s best to send Kufatec (or someone else) an email with VIN code, they must know what suits and what doesn`t. Another option is to buy camera with all the wiring and let local Skoda dealer to do the installation. Or you can install it yourself and let the dealer do only the coding and calibration.
  12. I did 400 000 km on my previous Superb II with 6 speed DSG. I am on 360 000 km at the moment on my Kodiaq with 7 speed DSG. Never had any issues with gearbox.
  13. Yes, for now probably lots of companies has copied the VIM solution. Back when I purchased the car Kufatec was the only one to add such a function. Like obd11 is a clone (grey area here) of Ross Tech. They only offer solutions that VCDS already have. And very raw ones. There was a thread in Superb II about calibrating - the whole procedure, including boards. Though the last ones I don`t remember if the parts could be printed or was there a whole solution for the board.
  14. I coded VIM with Kufatec`s dongle, worked perfectly. You must give them a credit, as they are the only ones on market to enable VIM. Which indicates the level of engeering in the company. I suggested the Kufatec`s camera set just for the coding dongle. Here you can get OEM set for cheaper: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/566054634a-rear-camera-set-skoda-32794.html Calibration I believe can be done manually with VCDS, at least it was possible for Superb with MIB 2 headunit.
  15. The camera itself is useless, if it`s not connected to headunit and coded. Instead of some Polish site I would look for recommended suppliers. Kufatec for example: https://www.kufatec.com/en/skoda/kodiaq/rear-view-camera-retrofit-for-skoda-kodiaq-ns7-41940 The set includes wiring harness and coding dongle. Just make sure about headunit, if it fits the set. So many different variations, if you deal with VAG.
  16. Some guy had 30 mm installed to back, but I have no feedback.
  17. I have 20 mm in front and back. No issues or remarks from official dealer.
  18. Yes, was afraid so. Just received ordered mount and it doesn`t fit there anyway. Problem is, the holder is made out of metal and needs even surface to mount it. The dash is too curvy. Windscreen is too apart. Will figure something out.
  19. There is a non used ribbon on the bottom of the touchscreen. If I fix a tablet holder to it, can it cause any harm to satnav, as the tablet may wobble during the ride? Planning a longer European trip and would like to have Waze and Google maps working both at the same time.
  20. About code insert do not know, you have newer headunit. I use AA wirelessly, using AAWireless dongle.
  21. MIB 3 is different than MIB 2. I don`t have to insert any codes on headunit. There are 2 packages you can purchase. At leat for MIB 2. Maps and online services. I do not use maps, but I keep then updating, just in case. Using Android Auto and Waze. Online srvices - I sometimes use the remote locking of the car. And sometimes I check my daily runs. So basically no need for them, but I still keep paying for them. Was smth 70 euros per year without taxes, not a big loss.
