  1. NB! something new to coding. All true, but. Replaced the original battery to Exide AGM 82 Ah in March. As my aftermarket`s Webasto Anroid app monitors constantly the voltage, noticed something odd. Sometimes it charged normaly at 14,8 V, sometimes only at 12,8 V. Ok, summer passed, switched Webasto on one morning and after 10 min received message, battery level low (default Webasto minimum is 11,3 V, but I changed it to 11,8 V before I swapped the batteries.) What the heck? When purchased the battery, the shop coded the car with Exide dongle. Well, connected the VCDS, checked. Battery technology was binary AGM. Which is wrong. Changed to Fleece. All other was good, amperage, producer, all ok. But nothing changed. I am doing every day 1 hour to work and 1 hour back. Once or twice a month doing 12 hour 1000 km day trip. So charging should not be a problem, normally. Checked the battery with a tester, SOC about 30% and battery at 40%. Went finally to the dealers. They did a new coding and everything works perfect since:
  2. I had just last week replaced: one propshaft cover, both front springs with shock bearings. All in all 370 euros, including labour and parts. I suggest to look for some non official garage. This does not affect on your warranty, no need to feed the greedy.
  3. According to the guy from the official dealership, who sold me the car, diesel RS is more desirable due to consumption and specially for the the torque difference and there is not much of them on aftermarket.
  4. Diesel RS has 60 l tank capacity. I do usually 75 km to work and the same back. Some urban driving included. The cluster shows the range 700 - 750 km. Couple of times a month I drive 1000 km a day. In these cases I have reached to the range of 830 km. All this in case you do not exceed 110 km/h. When I tow a trailer, range will vary between 580 - 660 km, loaded and uloaded.
  5. Just drive as usually and the car takes care for the cleaning itself. No special effort needed for that.
  6. Could be possible, just never heard of. I used this method: Lock doors with engine running Select Control unit 9 (Central Electrics) Authorization: 31347 Adaptation ZV allgemein Select: Funk bei Klemme 15 ein Value: Active
  7. I have activated also locking via remote. Never heard of doing it via Kessy on Kodiaq.
  8. I might meet you sometime in the future in some Audi forum Been fun, good luck!
  9. Have you tried soft reboot? Hold the power button for about 10 sec until the display switches off and the unit reboots itself. Or try to reinstall the software.
  10. Here I disagree. It is capable for more than you think. Taken 30 degree wet slopes, mud, heavy snow etc etc. The reason here seems to be the offroad mode. It sets all assistants not to react so harsh and electronically imitates locking the differentials. Makes quite a difference compared to the standard mode. It aslo includes the hill assistant, which is just brilliant.
  11. It did judder quite hard. Changed front disks, no difference. Actually local dealer changed a bunch of stuff, including steering rack (cost me eventually total 2800 euros) until some mechanic noticed that the axle beam bolts are loose.
  12. In my case juddering was caused by the loose front axle beam (no kidding!).
  13. I can give instructions but as VAG has cut off the access to the ECU then someone has to confirm it can be done on 2022 model. I believe even OBD11 was capable to do it. Which is much cheaper option than VCDS.
  14. I activated personalisation on my 2019 Kodiaq with VCDS. Not sure it could be done on 2022 model.
  15. If it comes and goes, I would say some sensor is faulty or has bad connection at least. What sensor, hell knows, there are tons of these in the modern cars. Maybe get some OBD11, so you can monitor the faults on the go.
  16. DSG second thermostat failiure caused temperatures not reaching the oprational ones, not overheating. Fan is working?

  18. The phone is still connected directly to the car`s bluetooth and Carplay / AA has nothing to do with it. Faulty microphone?
  19. My Kodiaq doesn`t have such a button.
  20. VCDS can do it. Not sure, but I guess OBD11 can also. Last one costs about 100 euros with PRO app. Maybe dealer can do it cheaper, but the device will be active forever. You do not reset it - it will give an annoiyng bling every time you start the car until you reset it.
  21. Mine 2019 car needed a very good USB cable. Better buy some wireless Android Auto / Carplay dongle, problem solved. Unless you have something different going on there.
  22. When you start the car, first it loads a small car image in the center of 360 view, which turns into normal size car image after second or two. Must be some sofware issue being not upload the image. Try to reboot the headunit or test for faults in ECU.
