Lane guidance has two operation modes: active and adaptive. Acive is the one when car bounces, adaptive is when it steers itself. You can switch the adaptive mode on (if not switched already) in Car settings under driver assistance. Also the road marking (lines) should be quite fresh to let the system work flawlessly.

This Cubic esim has nothing to do with car`s services. It is only and only to create hotspot in the car. All the other services - map updates, weather, gas prices etc. will reach the car via built in esim, data plan of which is covered by Skoda. If you buy Skoda Connect services (Care Connect + Infotainment online) for 73,33 eur + VAT per year, you will get all what you want. I have SIM in a slot in my car and I pay only monthly fee 1,79 euro for it. No data traffic. I do not use hotspot in my car very often. But I have purchased Skoda Connect services every year and I`ve got all - gas prices, map udates, weather etc etc.

Why don`t you use your phone`s hotspot? You can use also some app to switch the hotspot on, when connecting to car`s bluetooth.

Actually it is14 years now when I checked. Skoda Connect portal tell me that my 2019 car`s esim (emergency call service) will end at 2033. My car has physical sim slot and Skoda`s esim. Newer cars should have 2 esims - one of these Skoda`s prepaid. So you don`t have to pay for some data plan but still keep your car updated once you have bought some Skoda eservices.

There is one more esim in the car, prepaid by Skoda Auto and valid for 15 years if I remeber correctly. This is used to make emergency calls and update firmware / maps.

Have you tried it? I really really doubt that some lithuanian computer guys in OBD11 can do what US engineers in VCDS cannot. Unless they own a guy in VAG who feeds them with access codes. Which is unlikely.

You cannot modify your car with OBD11 or VCDS anymore, Access to systems has been cut off by VAG since 2021.

I don`t think there were two cameras ever. This bunch is probably: camera and two rain sensors (earlier cars had even 4 rain sensors). Also light sensor should be somewhere.

I might be wrong, but I doubt OBD11 can change anything. As OBD port is pretty much closed now for tweaking and if VCDS cannot code anything anymore, OBD11 will definitely not be able to do that. Their business idea seems to be copy VCDS solutions to their dongle. Cannot see anything that they developed all by their own.

I believe iit should have been. It brakes definitely when car is slowing down ahead in the another line, but lines are not marked (camera cannot separate the lines). The same 10 oclock (2 oclock here). Front assistt is a tricky thing. Mine has couple of times reacted to the pedestrians bridge on a motorway for example.

That shiny silver badge doesn`t fit to black (or blue) RS bonnet at all. Ordered also black grille badge, but guys at dealership couldn`t remove the original one.

I have the same, but. Having few stone chips on it I can see silver coating from underneath. Means, it`s just repainted original badge. Not even properly prepared. No, I haven`t. Except two Mondeos and Superb during 2008 - 2019. I guess you missed my point. Nowadays bending is replaced by LED sections in Matrix headlights. Different technology, same result.
