Extended warranty
I had to get both the struts on the electric tailgate replaced on our Karoq last year, all was covered by VWFS having taken out the “all in one package” . As our car is nearly 6 years old when the all in one package ran out I had no hesitation in renewing it , now means I have A manufacturer backed warranty cover until the car is 7 years 6 months old

Hi Mike Sorry just seen this , did you manage to swap out the flaps ? I just raised the middle slightly until they popped out then manipulated them again in the middle to pop them back in Regards Will

Hi Mike If it is the spring loaded flaps that are broken then you need to get the whole connector as I found out , the flaps are easy to swap across to replace the broken one’s To replace the whole connector is slightly more difficult as you have to take out a lot of the interior to get to it Regards Will

If you do specify an electric tailgate ensure that you have an extended Warranty , Both the struts on our car have been replaced over the last few months but covered by VWFS having taken out the “all in one package”

On mine on the Infotainment vehicle settings menu under light assist there is a box which must ticked for the high beam assist to work

If it is a Columbus then any formatted 64 GB SD card should work , I have a Columbus and use a Mac to download updated maps to , as the Mac generates spurious files I use “Clean my Drive “ to remove these files and have never had a problem with the updated maps loading

Is it a Amundsen or Columbus you are trying to update ? If it is an Amundsen then you have to use a Skoda SD Card otherwise it won’t work

If you go on to the Skoda Update portal there is a paragraph on updating Garmin ŠKODA move and fun maps, I did ours, downloading the new maps to our Mac with no problem https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/ Skoda_Move_Fun.pdf

All Season Tyres for Citigo
Our Citigo has Goodyear 165/70 R14 (81) T VECTOR 4 SEASON G2 on it, we got them at Costco for less than £60.00 per corner, fully fitted. After 2500 miles we have had no problems with them.
