  1. Hi @OBH69, In order to advertise your car you need to be a Freedom member and use the classifieds section. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/subscriptions/ https://www.briskoda.net/forums/classifieds/ Thanks.
  2. Well that part only relate to the golf. As there are some differences I would stick to an Octavia. What I would do is ring TPS and quote that part number and ask is there an Octavia version or is it the same (just to be sure).
  3. Under trays for the these cars come in 3 parts. Left/right and the whole underbelly part. Part numbers here: https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/octavia/oct/2004-252/8/825-825010/#2 Be sure to check for petrol/diesel variants.
  4. Usually the body panels, and interior. But as yours is a basic spec I doubt the interior would be anything. You’ve also got to bear in mind the space and time to strip the car yourself. As I said, put the whole car up on eBay or one of the MK1 Octavia’s FB groups to see if it’s gets any interest.
  5. The very basic of spec on the Octavia’s do not have the option. I believe it started on the elegance and up. There is a brochure on here somewhere I which you can check the trim levels/optional extras.
  6. Bit to far for me or I may have some parts off it. I’d put on eBay and see what it goes for, got to be worth more than scrap value.
  7. Don’t out rule tyres and the road just in case.
  8. Be sure there are no split pipes for the rear washer. Known problem for these to break and come apart and leak where the CD changer is.
  9. Possible that the mech has gone on the boot lock. Open it up and I spec it all and double check the wiring. Boot should unlock with remote locking and with the key in the door and finally with the button on the drivers door.
  10. Don't really like recommending FB groups as I can't stand the place, but there are a few MK1 groups, so I'd just recommend joining them all. Haven't seen a WRC for sale for some time. The last two I know of were sold by Manny on here.
  11. Need to be on the WRC FB groups.
  12. With the above it isn't to bad at all, in this case I think it's just the age of the car and the 'expected' general maintenance. That wouldn't be enough for me to justify getting rid of it.
  13. It’ll sell, there’s always someone who wants one of these. People that know about them, love them.
  14. Ah that's a shame, you'll find it hard to replace the MK1 VRS.
  15. There's a Yellow MK1 for sale in Kent atm for £800. Gentleman has owned it for 14 years and it's currently on 158k. Even has a sunroof!
  16. https://7zap.com/en/catalog/cars/Skoda/brand/17/0/Octavia/Octavia (1997 - 2011)/ Find your engine code in the list and you can get all the part numbers.
  17. I may know someone who will break theirs soon, not a guarantee as he's unsure but, if I get the seats (dibs) I'll tell him to hold the door cards, etc for you.
  18. A very rare option at £1500, I've got it on my MK1 VRS, along with Xenons.
  19. I believe it comes complete as one - Part No. AOC401001 If you have the satnav with the larger round aerial - Part No. 1U0035507A Double check these with TPS or Skoda.
  20. All the part numbers you need here: https://7zap.com/en/catalog/cars/Skoda/brand/17/0/Octavia/Octavia (1997 - 2011)/Skoda/bTFQVnhZWWZINmduNndFYWIveHVCdz09--/6bbffde8b5b8077d2d0a5796da6eea3c:4765bfbd97a7b1ab02d61a712a524a3b/manufacturer/8/202823100::823010
  21. Might be worth asking Skoda Norway, I'm sure there will be someone who works in the garage who used to work on the old MK1's.
