MK1 Octavia (VRS) with Factory Maxidot + Satnav (list)

Famously stolen from the MK1 Fabia section, I've decided to compile a list with the help of @softscoop (so thank you very much).

I thought it might be interesting/a challenge to try and compile a list of all the mk1 Fabia that had sat nav/maxidot specced from the factory as they're rarer than hen's teeth.

Some of these have been spotted when they've been for sale, and some were members from here. I'm fairly sure I've seen a different yellow one too but I haven't got any pictures.

An example of mine:

If you have Octavia VRS you're welcome to contact me to add yourself to the list (no personal info will be added). This is the current and up to list that we have. I know there are a lot of other Octavia's that have Maxidot & Satnav, but I'm only interested in the VRS models.

Hi DeanvRS,

I'm not sure whether it's still valid now as I no longer own it but back in late Spring 2004 I specced a black magic vRS with all options possible, if I recall the base car was £15,880 but with options I think it was £19,200.  This had Sat Nav & maxidot, registration = LN54 SFZ.

Regards

Pete

To me it is, as I’m always on the look out for them! And, I wish you still had it as I would’ve tried to purchase it off you.

It seems your old one has probably been scraped now as it hasn’t been taxed or insured since 2012. But thanks for letting me know. Do you have any pictures that you could send via PM?

I really want to top spec VRS Estate in Red to match my hatchback or even find one breaking or sparks/repairs so I can transfer it all over and retro fit it.

Thanks for replying. 😁

Currently, the 7th car in my above list is for sale.

If someone is wanting/looking for a very HIGH SPEC MK1 Octavia vRS. It's very similar to MY Corrida Red Spec (Minus the Parking Sensors and Heated Seats).

s-l800.thumb.webp.1a9901210a799da343eaa474cd1ef2fb.webp

Spec:

  • MAXI DOT DISPLAY (WITH GPS AERIAL, FACTORY)
  • DX SATNAV (You'll need to confirm this as I cannot see it in the photo)
  • XENONS
  • CRUISE CONTROL
  • CORRIDA RED

While the spec is nice, the condition isn't the best, and it needs some love.

The inside I think needs ripping out! Also, it's worth noting that if you plan to run an intercooler with Xenons, you will have some trouble as the extra space is taken up by the xenon levellers. Best of luck should anyone want to go get it... If I had the space, I'd honestly would've bought it last week.

I'm in contact with the owner of this vRS.

Should anyone be interested in this high spec example. Give me a PM.

My 2003 VRS estate came with factory nav Pr-7Q2, TMC traffic module Pr-PNA and the Multi-function display/trip computer with check control (aka maxi dot screen) and Pr-9Q2 which is still listed as being available under part number 1U0 920 941 C KD0 but is £1250.11. Mine occasionally has a fit and goes all left hand drive and metric on me but resets itself by the next time you start it.

I know the last two owners of this, and missed out buying it last year. I think it's sold now, but it's sat around for nearly a year. Guy wanted £1000 for it without MOT... No chance. I completely forgot to add this last year.

Added to list.

Come across another, in a sorry state. Asking a little too much in my eyes. Needs a fair bit doing to it. But, it's well spec'd for the people (like me) who want or, are looking for a highly spec'd version to keep.

Optional Extras
MaxiDot
Satnav
GPS Ariel

Xenons

Black Magic - MK1 Skoda Octavia vRS Hatchback

Description
12 months MOT

Four owners from new.

runs and drives well with no issues.

Car has had Miltek cat back exhaust, forge 007p diverter valve, pipercross panel filter and stage 1 map

Body work damage as shown in pictures, not an expensive fix to get this car looking good.for it's age. I just don't have the time to do it.

Stereo is stuck on safe mode and I don't have the unlock code for it so will need replacing. I do have the keys to remove the stereo.
