Problems with eco drive / Coasting
At low speeds in 1st or 2nd, my car seems to engage the clutch when I let off the gas before 2000rpm, really annoying as it’s not very smooth in doing so. It feels like it’s trying to coast at low speeds.

When is the new kodiaq out?
- Kodiaq 2.0TDI 200hp First Experience
Fair enough, I thought it was pretty clear.- Kodiaq 2.0TDI 200hp First Experience
If you looked at who asked me for settings, they have a MY20 example.- Kodiaq 2.0TDI 200hp First Experience
Surround on 4, subwoofer on 2, fader one 'click' back. This is what I find to be the best setting for my ears. MY21 cars have new sound software so I'll be taking one out for a spin soon.- Kodiaq 2.0TDI 200hp First Experience
The sound system is like current BMW Harman Kardon systems - factory settings it sounds crap but once you get the settings dialled in it sounds good. Makes sense as the ŠKODA Canton system is just a brand engineered Harman product.- New Kodiaq lease - options to add..
£30/mo sounds rather nominal to me, what extras were they?- Presence of MDI interface in Columbus MIB-3
All you need is a USB to 30-pin cable, why are you asking about the proprietary MDI cable? If you have a MY21 car, you could just use a USB-C to USB-A adapter.- New Kodiaq lease - options to add..
Yep Sportline is the way to go- VCDS / OBD coding inputs for MY 2020 Kodiaq
When did people find that switchable start stop setting! Bloody awesome, will be doing that to mine today.- Have Skoda shafted my new car?
It’s still a suede finish, I wouldn’t be miffed about that to be honest.- Sunroof leaking
No issues with my two Kodiaqs- Accessories etc ..
Superskoda- What's this? (mobile related)
Life's too short to drive slow cars!- Tow bar
And this is why I believe that trailer prep should come standard on any car that can tow any reasonable amount.- Kodiaq RS DPF Regeneration
Imagine buying a $73k car then complaining about the cost of premium petrol- DAB missing from Kodiaq RS MY21
Beware though, these MY21 Kodiaqs seem to be locked down a lot more when it comes to coding. Stuff like enabling Light Assist (auto high beams) cannot be coded via VCDS anymore.- How to install speedcameras in new kodiaq with mib3.0
If you have iOS 14, then when CarPlay launches, Waze should be able to automatically launch when on the 'home screen'- Kodiaq RS DPF Regeneration
I doubt that sheer technician ineptitude would be the problem, if that's what you're implying. The exact engine derivative has been in the Tiguan and Passat for longer, and if the dealer situation is like here in NZ and Australia, a local Skoda dealership would be able to call their sister VW dealership if all goes wrong. Shouldn't happen though, as the erWin (Electronic Repair and Workshop Information) service is the same for all Volkswagen Group brands, so a Skoda tech should be as educated about the engine as a VW tech. I would say that the BiTDI is 'tried and tested' enough, having been used in plenty of Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial vehicles, however I agree that they aren't nearly as common as the turbopetrol units. If @Tim123 goes with dealership or specialist servicing, I wouldn't worry that much about aftersales, however, I'd recommend an aftermarket mechanical breakdown insurance policy once the warranty ends.- How to install speedcameras in new kodiaq with mib3.0
Apple CarPlay looks rubbish on the 8" screen compared to the 9.2" due to Apple's display scaling.- Kodiaq RS DPF Regeneration
Sheer complexity of the biturbodiesel compared to a lower output turbopetrol I would assume.- Kodiaq RS DPF Regeneration
Makes me wonder why he got the RS and not the Sportline petrol. Plus with a petrol, he could straight-pipe the exhaust then stop complaining about his 7 row diesel SUV not having enough 'bark'- Kodiaq RS DPF Regeneration
After 3 years of my 3min drive to the supermarket, neither of my Kodiaq diesels have had a clogged DPF. It’s perfectly fine as long as you drive at 80+kph roads for maybe 10mins on a fairly regular basis. Urban driving I average between 7.5-9l/100km, with a DPF regen only making a tangible difference when idle going by the live consumption meter.- Kodiaq Edition - is there a demand
A five seater 190PS Edition is super rare, I’d be keeping it.- Facelift Kodiaq
Kodiaq Facelift reveal is slated for April 2021 with SOP (start of production) in June - the Kodiaq RS Facelift will be revealed with the 245PS Octavia RS engine and 4x4 system shortly after if not at the same time. Don't expect a PHEV as there is no information of such derivitive for MY22 (Facelift) Kodiaq on either erWin or ETKA. - Kodiaq 2.0TDI 200hp First Experience
