  1. I think snala's point is that Adaptive Lane Guidance has come on Kodiaqs since launch
  2. Sure. Once out of 50 times I'll have to reverse and readjust, however I've never had to pull out and completely start again in my ownership of multiple Kodiaqs. The speed depends on the driver, I'm a fast parker. It's not hard when you have all the cameras in the world to get the job done quickly. Plus, since when did the side sensors actually pick up kerbs? Not once I've had the car detect a kerb.
  3. You say we've convinced ourselves that we find Park Assist to not be good, yet you're convinced that literally nobody can park their car right the first time? Oh, the irony.
  4. By doing the same job faster...clearly if I thought Park Assist did the job faster than me then I would be using it. I can just pull up to a parking space, flick it in reverse and twirl the steering wheel and be done within 10 seconds - not that hard is it?
  5. With the dynamic guidelines and the tilting passenger side mirror it’s pretty easy to ‘beat’ Park Assist in my experience? The only times I’ve used Park Assist is on a busy main street with a very tight park, otherwise I’m faster just about every time.
  6. A joy only maybe three people in the Kodiaq forum understand.
  7. Yep MY21 cars are more locked down than before, requiring SWaP codes as @Iasmin90 here has mentioned.
  8. And the OP has an Octavia RS when they could've just bought a 1.0? So it's easy to assume that they prefer a car with more than 'ample' power.
  9. The RS would be my pick then. I upgraded to the RS from my 190hp as I needed more power for road trips. Around town not a massive difference, but it’s noticeably more effortless getting up to speed. People here will go on about how they tow a campervan etc with a 1.5 150hp and I just could never...too slow!
  10. I'd hope that someone that only pottles around town wouldn't bother ask a question like that and just get the 1.5 TSI...lets you get more options without getting taxed more.
  11. I had a 190hp standard Kodiaq and moved to the RS. Really depends if you just want the looks or not, but the extra turbo and progressive steering make a big difference in my experience.
  12. If I recall, the Kodiaq’s standard suspension setup is slightly firmer than the ‘normal’ DCC setup, and with the 20” rims it’s perfectly fine. I almost never drive my car in the ‘comfort’ suspension mode.
  13. Where’s the rattling coming from? On cold days the inner dash plastics rattle around 3000rpm on my car.
  14. There’s no way our government will shaft diesel, our problem is the average car age in NZ and thus tailpipe emissions of euro 2-5 cars.
  15. Clearly not a sucker for specsavers then if you think that’s tan
  16. Knowing SEAT interior quality you’ll probably regret it to be honest.
  17. Nope, no internal information of this. In erWin the 2.0 TSI 245PS engine has been added to the engine derivatives of the Kodiaq. No idea where the PHEV talk is coming from the original post.
  18. 30,000km maximum interval distance for cars using metric.
  19. Reveal is first half next year with deliveries commencing around Q3. Not all too much info, however available Matrix LED headlights and a new rear light cluster with dynamic indicators are a given. Also looks like the RS will be getting a more beskoke front bumper. As with any spy shots waiting for @e-Roottoot to chime in saying not to believe any spy shots or whatever.
  20. Could be rust on the rotors?
  21. Release the parking brake before moving off. Are you talking about the clunking when driving off initially?
  22. Yep the clusters from the factory are different, so you'd need to swap the inner taillight without the light in it with one that does, with coding after.
  23. Congratulations - some people don’t have large phones.
