  1. Absolute beauty @BA Baracus
  2. Ooh ja, it looks good though man! Even with what could be the transport blocks still in place, and without the aero wheel inserts. Under the bright white lights, looks a bit yellow maybe? Could also by my screen tbh
  3. Aww bum, kids were looking forward to the horned headrests. A bit of a rhetorical question, but why bother with a brochure? I also have one on order and this is my 4th vRS in a row, but there always seems to be stuff listed and not included.
  4. I think there were a couple of Merc models that had both sports exhaust and sound actuator a couple of years ago, but it's defo a weird move. It looks like there was a press review event on Isle of Man in the last day or so, so expect reviews to land shortly.
  5. Not heard or read anything about changing of exhaust for the GB market, just the sound actuator thingie. Like you @Gingernick70, often just switch it into individual
  6. 😐 but...not sure I want a virtual orchestra effect 🎺🎻 a bit frustrating, but not a deal breaker. On review videos, it looks like the interface is quite speedy with switching functions/driving modes. On second thoughts though, why have the majority of markets NOT got the rattle box sound, but GB has?! What kind of focus group nonsense would ask for it?!
  7. Good bit of detective work 🕵️
  8. Nice looking yellow, shame we don't have it as an option. My hyper green is built and en route to Emden 🚆 🚢
  9. There is always a bit of tinkering with different markets, but hopefully we don't have the rattle box in the dash @Shelvock!
  10. Just a titbit I noticed in one of the German videos, obviously take with a pinch of salt as it's the YouTube comments section. AGA I think is just an abbreviation of Abgasanlage, German for exhaust system:
  11. Aww man, that sucks. Any indication that it's the green paint that's the delay, or just "sorry, it's delayed"
  12. Like every other release, you're probably going to struggle to get 100% accurate information that you could bet on: some of us have been told that our order have been built, some are still waiting. What is clear, is that there are no UK based reviews out yet, which would suggest some coordinated marketing type thing (as UK is a big buyer of Octavia's, incl vRS models), so probably expect YouTube reviews to drop in the next few weeks and test models to show up soon after. Take with a pinch of salt obv
  13. I think it was to commemorate Charlie boy ascending to the throne. Either way, tipping hats to royals or not, it's a lovely colour
  14. Looks lovely!
  15. Yeah, you're probably right @Gingernick70 Mat Watson will also do that scritchy-scratchy thing on the door plastics, and probably get into the boot (or a production assistant)
  16. Looks like a smooth drive and sound actuator is maybe less tinnie sounding? Nice to see the speed of infotainment/changing of driving modes/turning assist functions on and off [in comparison to current MK4, which sometimes lags]
  17. Review video just dropped, it's Thomas from Autogefühl: Might not be UK spec, but will be pretty close to Edit: forgot to add, "Let's go!"
  18. Yeah, I had noticed the same Nick; I did notice one reviewer who was ragging it up a hill/mountain pass in the rain, and you could hear the exhaust a bit but the audio wasn't great. I've seen some short video clips shared on facebook of the exhaust note, defo like you say, tiny bit of personality! That's fine with me though. I am tempted to do an exhaust sound test when it arrives: vRS against my partners 14 year old mini cooper s
  19. 2k down, £359 x 24. Hyper green estate, no optional extras. Never leased before and didn't realise that car tax is in with the price, so could have specced it up to the maximum! Happy with how it'll come though, only option on my current one is DCC
  20. Fully suckered in: hyper green ordered via lease, build week 44 (this week?), potentially due for delivery mid-December 👽👽👽
  21. I'm in a similar circumstance to you @BNB90, PCP ends in May with 11k left and more than likely going to pay it off and keep it. I am tempted by the green and newer exhaust though, as I'm fickle
  22. I moved from a MK3.5 vRS (petrol, without DCC), to a mk vRS 4 vRS (petrol, with DCC); happy with the change. Shame the one you're looking at doesn't have DCC, but I'm sure it'll ride fine in comparison to the one you have now. Like others have said, the screen/infotainment issues have likely been resolved by now
  23. Creeped up to 50 mpg on a straight run from Leicester to Glasgow, but average is obviously no where near that!
  24. Cheers for the tip with the latches and for reminding me to do this. I opted for a Bosch carbon filter for I think £13 from euro car parts; dealer quoted £69!
  25. Still have my 2021 vRS, only needed software updates (no hardware). All working fine and as intended; with earlier gremlins sorted. I'll probably keep the car tbh, don't feel like I want to chop it in for a new model
