  1. This is usually a symptom manifestation of a battery on its way out. The car constantly monitors the battery voltage at rest and charging and then will disable start stop if the voltage is too low to typically crank the engine, leaving you stuck. It's not definite, as you may have had your car laid up unused for a few weeks and that's not unusual, but totally discharging a battery is bad for it in most cases and will limit capacity from then on.
  2. My money would be on a battery on its way out if it's voltage related after a week at rest. Certainly if it's an original.
  3. Yes. A battery measured across the terminal voltage at rest will float at about 12.8 and under charge will be up to 14.4 iirc.
  4. You really mean, do you think I'll get away with nicking the spare. You know that answer to the question you posted. Go on, be honest.
  5. Not much .... And this is with a USB c cable cable on a quickcharge phone, so it can pull up to 3a.
  6. I understand ford is bringing back the model T. It sounds like it could be right up your cobbled street.
  7. I know Shadowworks, I recall a bit of a ding dong on a web forum years ago with the owner! Sounds like you know talkaudio.... Shortly before it all got nicked....
  8. Colour maxidot, is that an option on that year?
  9. Really? You haven't mentioned it before. What's the sub? I used to have Series 3 genesis until it all got nicked years ago. Look after them!
  10. Hey Dunc, can I ask what sort of part ex your current car got?
  11. Super chips/ blufin do come with a limited warranty. I've read through it and it's certainly better than none at all.
  12. Seriously, I think a lot is down to lack of soundproofing. Sit on your drive with the car stationary and ending off and see how you feel about it. Often the stereo is ok, it's just struggling to overcome ambient noise on the move.
  13. Well, no, but she was next to Gamora at the time and she doesn't have any.
  14. It's outrageous. When I used to fix my Mini years ago, it was accepted you wedged yourself between two visibility teetering stacks to get what you needed, plus the five fingered discount on some trim. Health and safety and Crime prevention gone mad I tell you.
  15. It's the software. The headunit has to decode the files. Some audio playing software is good, others, not so good. Cheap dac.
  16. Also, when i stick my finger in my bellybutton and sniff it, it's gross.
  17. I've also realised when i put my hand under the car, it's dirty and is not very smooth. Rubbish.
  18. Also, have you noticed now dangerous the front of the car is is you step out in front of it when it is moving at speed? It's a disgrace. I've just realised this and will go and buy an Audi as they don't make cost cutting measures.
